The pastor is inviting church members to come to Sunday services and participate in communion. Attendance has been low recently with only a few children present for Sunday school and children's time. The pastor wants to encourage the congregation to make church a priority and come together regularly for fellowship and spiritual nourishment.

Fall break is a colorful time of the year. It often reminds us of the varied aspects of God: His Mark D. Lampley Associate Pastor mlampley@sequoyahchurch.org creations, His character and His revelations. Office: 522-9804, Ext 113

From time to time a pastor needs to say it like it is.
The family is not showing its best. Obviously, I need to vent, but after reading Romans 1, I couldn’t help myself. Paul says, “I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong– that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.” We can’t do that when we’re not together. We need to make our church attendance a priority. We need to be together! Imperfectly Yours, Like disciples long ago, Amy Ayres and Annie Fulk take time to mutually encourage each other as they sail across the Sea of Galilee!
