4. First-Aid Measures
General advice: Remove contaminated clothing. If inhaled: If difficulties occur after vapour/aerosol has been inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical attention. On skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. On contact with eyes: Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open. On ingestion: Rinse mouth and then drink plenty of water. Note to physician: Treatment: Treat according to symptoms (decontamination, vital functions), no known specific antidote.

10. Stability and Reactivity

Substances to avoid: carbon black, PIGMENT BLACK 7 Textile printing and pigment dyeing: In combination with C.I. Pigment Black 7 pigment preparations containing C.I. Pigment Orange 13 and/or C.I. Pigment Orange 34 can release aromatic amines (3,3-dichlorobenzidine) under standard conditions. These aromatic amines are considered to be carcinogenic and dangerous to health. Hazardous reactions: No hazardous reactions when stored and handled according to instructions. Persistence and degradability

Assessment biodegradation and elimination (H2O): The ecotoxic component(s) is/are readily biodegradable. The substance can be virtually eliminated from water in suitable effluent treatment plants by biodegradation, stripping and mechanical separation. Well eliminable from water by adsorption on activated sludge. The product is not very soluble in water and can thus be removed from water mechanically in suitable effluent treatment plants. Colourants are by their nature very stable and are therefore not readily biodegradable under conditions prevailing in surface water or in effluent treatment plants.

Other adverse effects

Adsorbable organically-bound halogen (AOX): The product contains according to the formulation, organically bound halogen. It can increase the AOX-value in the water purification plants overflow or if it reaches waters.

Must be dumped or incinerated in accordance with local regulations. A waste code in accordance with the European waste catalog (EWC) cannot be specified, due to dependence on the usage. Observe national and local legal requirements. Contaminated packaging: Uncontaminated packaging can be re-used. Packs that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of in the same manner as the contents.
