First, we used the scientific method to I.D our minerals. I did a streak test and used a marble board to scratch and find out the streak. I scratched with the hardness test and found out that mine is a 10. My hypothesis was Stishpovite, and my hypothesis was correct. My mineral was very dark, and it has a gold and brown streak. It had a hardness of 10, which is diamond. The things that help me were the hardness, streak, luster, and color tests. The websites that Mr. Finan gave me help me the most.
