LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,

It is my honour and pleasure to be with all of you today in this first ever ROBOFAIR PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA 2013 organized by Robotics Club of PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA is the one and only centre for excellence in Malaysia and is responsible for identifying students gifted and talented students from all around Malaysia and gives them the opportunity to develop their potential and talent. ROBOFAIR PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA 2013 is an initiative from the students of PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA especially the Robotics Clubs Members in conjunction of promoting the technology of robots among the students.

Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. These technologies deal with automated machines that can take the place of humans in dangerous environments or manufacturing processes, or resemble humans in

appearance, behaviour, and cognition. Many of today's robots are inspired by nature contributing to the field of bio-inspired robotics.

This ROBOFAIR programme is a good example on promoting and exposes the arts of technology especially to the students. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Robotics Clubs Of PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA on their hardworking and brilliant idea on organizing this event. I know that they really have sacrificed their time and energy on making this event a reality.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,

I would like to take this opportunity to say a very warm welcome and thank you to SASBADI SDN BHD on supporting this ROBOFAIR. Besides, I also want to welcome THE REPRESENTETIVE FROM CENTER OF HUMANOID ROBOTS AND BIO-SENSING (HuRoBs), FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA (UiTM) and Ive being told that they will give a talk on the robotics field and the NAO Humanoid Robot for our ROBOFAIR today.

In addition, I would also like to welcome the participants from: -SEKOLAH TEKNIK TUANKU JAAFAR,NEGERI SEMBILAN -SEKOLAH SULTAN ALAM SHAH, PUTRAJAYA -SEKOLAH -SEKOLAH that joining us for today events. I hope that through this programme can help to strengthen the relationship between us.

I really hope that you get something from this programme. Take this opportunity for you to explore the world of technology especially in the field of robotics. I really hope that all of you have fun in today programme.

Last but not least, once again I would like to congratulate the Robotics Club of PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA on making todays event a reality and I hope that this programme will be an annual programme of us in PUSAT PERMATApintar NEGARA. So, have fun everyone!
