OUR GREEN STORY

For over ten years, ECOsurfaces has offered a diverse portfolio of flooring patterns that make a distinct design statement without sacrificing the health of the natural environment. Even before sustainable design became an industry emphasis, ECOsurfaces was proactively using recycled material resources and engineering new environmentally sustainable surfacing solutions. With a continued commitment to upholding the environment and providing innovative product selections, ECOsurfaces Commercial Flooring makes it easy to design responsibly.

WHO IS ECORE
From the beginning, ECORE International, manufacturer of ECOsurfaces Commercial Flooring, has been at the forefront of recycling efforts. Over twenty years ago, ECORE pioneered the recycled rubber flooring category. Today, as North Americas largest user of recycled scrap tire rubber, ECORE processes more than 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber each year. This process helps to conserve more than one million barrels of oil in the process to convert pliable treads into durable product solutions for construction, consumer, sports and leisure, commercial, and industrial markets.

ECOsurfaces Commercial Flooring is comprised of post-consumer tire rubber and ColorMill EPDM. These materials are bound together in an elastomeric network produced with a low-embodied energy manufacturing process that requires minimal water, avoids heat, and reuses in-line scrap to decrease waste. The result is a stunning environmentally sustainable surfacing collection that passes the most stringent tests for VOC emissions and indoor air quality.

ECONIGHTS FOR SPORT

ECOnights for Sport is the perfect athletic surface for fitness applications. Its superior spike resistance, blade resistance and slip resistance in nominal 3/8 (8mm) thickness make it a durable solution for ice rinks and fitness areas. Rolls and tiles are available in a number of color options, delivering unmatched durability and design options to enhance any high-energy athletic environment. ECOnights for Sport supports the ASTM Sustainability Assessment, providing designers and specifiers with all the benefits of a sustainably accredited product. ECOnights for Sport adhere to the state of Washingtons standards for low VOC emissions. The product also features simple installation and easily disguises dirt and stains.

ECONIGHTS FOR ESD

Protect sensitive equipment from damage caused by electrostatic discharge with ECOnights for ESD. This product eliminates electrostatic shock with the addition of 67% minimum black recycled rubber to ECOnights sheet flooring. Choose from a generous selection of standard and custom colors for floor designs that are as beautiful as they are functional. (Proper ESD installation instructions must be followed to meet ESD protective standards and performance.)
