    TripartiteCommission EcuadorSportsMinistry/EcuadorNOC/IOCRepresentative 8October2013 Re.ElectionsFederacionEcuatorianadeBadminton DearSirs FollowingourcorrespondenceinAugustrelatedtotheprocesstoestablishelectionsfortheFederacion EcuatorianadeBadminton,wearepleasedtoreceivetheminutesoftheExtraordinaryGeneralMeeting whichwascalledbytheTripartiteCommissionforthepurposesofholdingelectionsfortheNational BadmintonFederationon2October2013. TheBWFhasalsoreceiveareportfromourrepresentative,MrGermnValdezCaldernontheelection process. TheBWFconfirmsthatitacceptstheelectionoutcomesof2Octoberandrecognisesthoseelectedofficialsof theFederacionEcuatorianadeBadminton.TheBWFisintheprocessofcompletingtheBWFConstitutional requirementstoregisterthenewOfficersoftheFederacionEcuatorianadeBadminton. TheBWFunderstandsthatthecurrentBoardoftheFederationshallbeinplaceuntil2017. Inacceptingthisprocessandtheoutcomesoftheelectionsof2October,theBWFwillrequestthatthe FederacionEcuatorianadeBadmintonreviewsitsconstitutiontoensurethatthisisinlinewiththeprinciples oftheBWFConstitutionandtheOlympicCharter. InparticulartheBWFwouldliketoensurethatelectionscanonlybecalledbytheFederacionEcuatorianade Badminton,andthattheelectionsarecarriedoutinatransparentmannerinaccordancewithitsConstitution. BWFwouldexpectthatthenextelectionswilltakeplaceindependentlyinfullaccordancewiththe FederacionEcuatorianadeBadmintonConstitutionandwithoutinterferencefromtheGovernmentandthe NationalOlympicCommittee. TheBWFlooksforwardtoworkingwiththeFederacionEcuatorianadeBadmintonindevelopingbadminton inEcuador. TheBWFwishestoacknowledgeandthanktheTripartiteCommissionfortheworkundertaken. Yourssincerely
