The Constitution of the League of Hard Knox I. Commissioner A.

At the beginning of each season, the commissioner will be decided by league vote. 1.First there will be a nomination process where any league member (excluding first year players) may be nominated. Members are not allowed to nominate themselves. 2.If you are nominated you then have the option to accept (putting your name on the ballot) or to decline (removing yourself from the ballot). 3.After we have finished the nomination process, we will hold a league vote based on the accepted nominations. This will be done in our current communication form (whether that be email/groupme/text/etc.) 4.The candidate with majority votes will be the seasons commissioner. There will be no term limit. The incumbent commissioner is automatically nominated for the following year. B. During the season, the commissioner will be responsible to efficiently run the day-to-day operations of the League of Hard Knox and will be required to interpret the appropriate course of action based on the terms outlined in the Constitution and by ESPN.com. C. The commissioner does not have autonomous rule over the league and may be impeached and removed from office through a unanimous vote by the league. This vote must be without a doubt unanimous. II. League Members A. There will be 10 league members for each season, no more, no less. If someone decides to leave the league due to mutual consent, then the remaining members will decide who to interview for potential new member. B. All interested members from the previous season have the right to retain their franchise as long as they have not been banned by unanimous vote. C. Bannings will be instituted by the League of Hard Knox based on a majority vote and must be upheld for a minimum of 1 season. D. Bannings will be issued as a result of franchise negligence, failure to pay league fees in a timely manner and/or for reasons currently beyond comprehension but for which, at said time, the League of Hard Knox deems banning appropriate through majority vote. III. League Setup A. League Fees currently $50 (open to modification in later seasons) 1. The amount will equal the decided upon entry fee for the league and will be decided by vote prior to the draft each season. 2. The fee will be due by the Friday after the opening Sunday of regular season play. 3. Failure to pay league fees will result in league banning.

IV. Draft A. Draft Process 1. The draft order will be determined by the final standings of the previous season. 2. Once the draft order is determined, the draft order will be in snake format (1st pick in round 1, has last pick in round 2, and so forth). 3. The draft date will be determined by the League and must take place within one week of the opening game. 4. The draft will be performed online or in person based on a majority vote. The League of Hard Knox will attempt to have a live draft if at all possible for every season. V. Trades A. Trades will be allowed from the end of the draft until the trading deadline as outlined on the ESPN.com league settings page. B. Each franchise owner has the right to vote against any trade if they believe it to be unfair. C. If a trade is voted against, the franchises involved in the trade have the right to request a roll call of who voted against the trade. Those franchises that voted against the trade will then be required to state the reasoning behind their vote within 24 hours. Each franchise owner (except for those involved in the trade) will be required to vote again. Votes not submitted within 24 hours or votes from vetoing members who failed to supply an explanation of their veto in the time required will be assumed as votes for the trade. Since two members will be involved in the trade, there will be a total of 8 remaining members. 5 members most vote against the trade for it to be cancelled. If there are no objections the trade will process 24 hours after the agreement. VI. Regular Season A. The season schedule will be generated automatically by your league service based on the divisions. B.
