Date: May 9, 2013 Location : New York, NY On May 2, 2013, USA TODAY announced that Brent Goldman, Associate Copywriter of Tribal New York, and Joshua McGuire, Associate Creative Director of Tribal New York, have been chosen to compete in the Film Category of the Young Lions competition at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June.

Goldman commented, Its exciting that were representing the country as TEAM USA at Cannes with the three other teams.

USA TODAY hosted the Young Lions competitions in four categories Cyber, Film, Media and Print. The competitions were open to teams of two young professionals employed by an advertising company or agency, or media industry company in the U.S., who are 28 years of age or younger. Winners of the global competition receive free registration and accommodation for the following year's Festival.

This year, USA TODAY partnered with KaBOOM!, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing play to kids in need. Goldman and McGuire of Tribal Worldwides New York office created the Film titled "Playgrounded," which features a family in Brooklyn, NY. McGuire said, KaBOOM!s mission is to propel the play movement forward by creating great spaces where kids want to play. Kids today are so enveloped in their devices theyre basically grounding themselves. Our spot took that behavior and turned 'grounding' on its head by encouraging parents to 'playground' their kids.
