VP and General Manager Selected by Tellabs CEO and EVP of Development to turn-around troubled Vivace acquisition into profitable business. Senior executive in charge of product development, marketing, product line management, technical and sales support of Tellabs 8800 Layer 2/Layer 3 multiservice router and Tellabs 8890 Element Management System. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS Transformed Tellabs 8800 product line from significant money loser (2006 $53M revenue; $40M net loss) to Tellabs high revenue and profit achieving product line (2010 - $305M; $160M net profit) Achieved TL 9000 Quality certification for the Tellabs 8800 program. Upgraded certification to TL 9000 v5.0 standard in 2012. Established strong relationships with Layer 2/Layer 3 Network Architecture, Planning and Operations organizations of large telecom carrier customers based in North America, Australia, Japan, Brazil, Italy, Indonesia, Europe, and elsewhere.

SVP Engineering Hired by Tellabs CEO and EVP of Development to turn-around troubled FTTP program (deployed as Verizon FIOS service) as part of AFC acquisition Senior executive in charge of product development, technical support, and sales support of Tellabs 1000 and 1600 product lines focused on Fiber To The Premises product offering. Led team of approximately 305 full-time employees based in 4 different locations in North America KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS Resolved major technical issues in FTTP product that ultimately achieved Verizon target for high quality Network Report Rate.
