Each of these provides great articles and other resources on the subject so that students can understand and make informed decisions about the topic. The article also give practicle tips on the best ways to protect their hearing in everyday life, and which sounds are most important to avoid or use protection from. The site also provides games, videos, and help for parents and community leaders in working to help their children and make them aware of why this topic is important. http://www.thesurvivaldoctor.com/ This website was written for adults. Written by a family doctor with over 30 years of experience, this website was written in response to his revelation that many average people, know next to nothing about medical procedures or medicine in general. The website also gives them a wide variety of practical tools and resources to achieve this, like BMI and Metabolism calculators as well as various charts which they can print out for reminders. Once they are finished, they will be shown a list of games activities and lesson plans for that grade level that focus on their chosen subject. For example in terms of health and fitness I found many useful items for grades K-2 such as a game demonstrating the different types of materials which can get into ones lungs causing Asthma, a lesson plan on the importance of Protein, and even lessons on the food pyramid and the importance of family time together. http://www.pecentral.org/lessonideas/health/healthlp.asp This website created by a teacher from the University of Wisconsin, gives teachers a place to access other teachers lessons and ideas regarding Health and Physical Education at any grade level. The website includes lesson plans, test reviews and assessements, games and even P.E. activities for different lesson plans related to nutrition, peer-pressure, safety, bullying, alcohol and drug prevention etc
