DAY 1/TASK 1 Daily Progress Questions 1.

What variables did you analyze for relevance for your mathematical model? 2. Which variables made it into your multi-factor model and why? 3. Which cities rose to the top of the rankings through the predictive power of your multi-factor mathematical model? 4. Which city did you ultimately choose? Explain your rationale for the choice. Summarize the progress of the group today. List all major decisions that were made and why. Discuss any disagreements in the group and how they were resolved. Discuss any learning moments and how they influenced your groups direction and/or decisions. DAY 2/TASK 2 Daily Progress Questions 1. What websites did you use to research the Fibonacci Sequence and its appearance in the natural world? 2. What names made your Top-10 list? Briefly explain why each made the list. 3. What names made your Top-3 list? Briefly explain why each made the final 3. 4. What is the name of your baseball team? Why did you ultimately decide on that name above all others considered? Summarize the progress of the group today. List all major decisions that were made and why. Discuss any disagreements in the group and how they were resolved. Discuss any learning moments and how they influenced your groups direction and/or decisions. DAY 3/TASK 3 Daily Progress Questions 1. What are the dimensions to the outfield wall and how did you set them? Specifically what are the dimensions to the left field foul pole? To the left field gap? To straight-away center field? To the right field gap? To the right field foul pole? 2. What are the dimensions of foul territory and how did you set them? Specifically how far directly behind home plate does foul territory go? Specifically what is the perpendicular distance from third base to the end of foul territory? From first base perpendicular to the end of foul territory? What is the general shape of the line that goes from the foul pole in left field to the point perpendicular to third base? From the right field foul pole to the point perpendicular to first base? Why did you choose that (those) shape(s) and how does it tie to Fibonacci?

3. Were you able to incorporate any other features into the field peculiar to the Fibonacci theme? Summarize the progress of the group today. List all major decisions that were made and why. Discuss any disagreements in the group and how they were resolved. Discuss any learning moments and how they influenced your groups direction and/or decisions. DAY 4/TASK 4 1. How did you incorporate the Fibonacci sequence or Phi into the exterior design of the stadium? 2. How did you incorporate the Fibonacci sequence or Phi into the seating plan design of the stadium? 3. How did you incorporate the Fibonacci sequence or Phi into the ingress/egress conveyances into and out of the stadium? 4. How did you incorporate the Fibonacci sequence or Phi into the parking for the Fibonacci Park complex? 5. How did you integrate the museum into the park complex? 6. How did you size the museum (square footage, number of floors) and why? 7. What other Fibonacci related features did you design into the stadium or park complex? Explain how and why these were included? Summarize the progress of the group today. List all major decisions that were made and why. Discuss any disagreements in the group and how they were resolved. Discuss any learning moments and how they influenced your groups direction and/or decisions. DAY 5/TASK 5 Presentation your presentation will be evaluated by your peers and the teacher according to the main project rubric. Student scores and comments will be aggregated for the presenting group and used by the teacher to aid in determining the final score.
