PURPOSE To provide project management for a wide range of ICT enabled business change projects of varying complexity, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained, primarily within Business and Technology Solutions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for the management and successful delivery of allocated projects on time and within budget. 2. Production of all project documentation in compliance with the PRINCE2 methodology. 3. Project scoping and definition. 4. Resource estimating and costing. 5. Monitoring and reporting project capital and revenue spend against project budget. 6. Preparation of financial models to track project expenditure against budget. 7. Liaise with the relevant Business Analyst in the preparation of financial models for planned change and business cases. 8. Project scheduling and planning. 9. Preparation of invitations to tender and evaluation matrices. 10. Management of project risks and issues, ensuring there are appropriate action to mitigate risk. 11. Negotiation and liaison with external suppliers. 12. Undertake project communications planning and manage the expectations of all project stakeholders. 13. Be familiar with current developments in ICT and ICT Project Management in order to maintain best practice.
