Introduction
The RJ45 Patch Panel provides 48 straight-through RJ-45 connections. The patch panel has 48 RJ-45 connectors on the front and 48 corresponding RJ-45 connectors on the rear. Reversible mounting flanges enable installation to a 19-inch or 23-inch rack. Figure 1 shows the RJ45 Patch Panel and Table 1 lists its specifications.

Installation Procedure

Installation Procedure
1. Attach the mounting flanges as shown in Figure 2. Note that there is a left and right mounting flange. 2. Connect the tie bars to the front and rear of the RJ45 Patch Panel. (See Figure 2.) Note: The RJ45 Patch Panel includes tie bars that mount to the patch panel. Optional 19-inch tie bars (06-410-001) and 23-inch tie bars (TYBAR) that mount to the rack are available by contacting your sales representative. 3. Mount the RJ45 Patch Panel to a 19-inch or 23-inch rack. 4. Attach cables to the RJ-45 connectors. Securely fasten the cables to the tie bars. 5. (Optional) Attach identification labels. (See Figure 3.)
