GETTING READY

1. OVERVIEW
India has the largest population in the world. And the main contribution in growing population of India is Indian Youth. This is the main reason behind very tough competition in every sector like business, sports or education etc. in India. Talking about educational field in India, there are over 1.2 millions of engineering students who successfully completes their degree but most of them are not capable of surviving in the industry. The reason behind that is simple. High number of students, high numbers of engineering college but their low standard of educating students. Colleges today are not meant to teach the people but are just good business which cannot be failed. But this attitude of engineering colleges is resulting in drastic future of youths. They are not ready to survive in the industry even they have completed their degrees. Getting Ready is an effort to make these students ready to join any company or venture by providing them special training before leaving with their degrees.

2. OBJECTIVE
To introduce, the companies and their working procedure, to the students so that they would not feel a complete stranger when joining the industry To train them according to the requirements by the different companies and making the ready.

To provide them various options to dream about their choice of company to join To boost up their confidence by making them learn and gaining knowledge of the field. To sharpening and shaping them by including them in various companys projects as a trainee.

3. ASSUMPTION
This idea is based upon the assumption that the reason behind incapabilities of the students of surviving in the industries even after completing their degrees is low standard of Engineering colleges and high proficiency demands of the industries. It is assumed that by proving students training before they join industry would help the students as well as the industry.

4. ORGANIZATION
4.1 EXTERNAL INTERFACES
The company would approach different companies as well as colleges. The requirements of the companies would be asked for every particular job in the industry. There would be tie-ups between different companies and colleges with Getting Ready. Expertise from the company would be visiting the training center for guest lectures. The college can provide space in their premises for

training in the summer internship timings when their premises can be free the students.

4.2 INTERNAL STRUCTURE


The company would have experienced trainers from different companies. Some expertise would also visit the training center during training for special guest lectures and to boost up students confidence. The company would have different units in different states of India according to the response of industries, colleges as well as students.

5. MANAGERIAL PROCESS PLAN


5.1 BUDGET ALLOCATION
The company can have three resources for their budget. First would be the students that are being trained in order to make themselves ready for the industry. Second is that particular company which is in collaboration with our company and demanding for experienced students for them. And the third one is the college which is also in collaboration with our company itself whose students are being trained.

In order to make a good understanding, there would be collaboration between the different companies and different colleges through our company.

5.2 RESOURCE ACQUISITION In the beginning the company would ask to its different collaborating colleges to provide them different resources like space, computers, labs etc. After getting established, company can open their own center by purchasing land or training in the college premises can be continued. Colleges providing their premises and resources to the Getting Ready would be given rebate on the rates and special acknowledgement. 5.3 STAFFING
The companies would require two kinds of staffs. One would manage a particular unit of the company and also managing the understanding between different units of the companies in different states. These staff would also have to communicate to different industries and colleges to collaborate with Getting Ready. Another team of staff would be the trainers who already have worked in different industries providing training to

the students and sharing their knowledge as well as their experience in the industries.

5.4 SCHEDULE ALLOCATION


Learning should have no timing boundations. But keeping in mind, the flexibility of students, company has considered two schedules for their training. One should be the summer training period of various Universities. And another should be the period just before joining a company. These timings for training would not affect the academics of any student.

6. CERTIFICATION AND TEST


The students getting training from Getting Ready would be certified. The certificate would be provided to the students after completion of training and passing a test conducted by the Getting Ready itself. The test would be of all India level for different units of Getting Ready students. With the scores of the test, the students can approach to different companies on their own.

7. PLACEMENTS
Getting Ready would also organize placement programs for the students trained there. The companies in collaboration with Getting ready would place the students according to their steps of selection. Companies other than those who are collaborated with

Getting Ready can also come for the placements although the preference would be given to the collaborated companies.
