California Troops to Serve Rotation in Seattle

As part of the ongoing reintegration of the former California Free State military into that of the US, an army battalion comprised primarily of troops originating from California will be assigned to serve with Joint Task Force Seattle on a six-month rotation. This program is expected to last four years and see an additional 8,000 soldiers past through the Metroplex during that time. This is part of our continuing process to integrate all American troops into a unified whole, said information officer Captain Able Alexander. The California raised soldiers will have an opportunity to work and train with soldiers from other regions and all will be able to improve their skills. The first battalion to take part in this operation arrives by sea this week. They are not brining any heavy equipment with them from California and will initially be operating as a light infantry formation.
