Designed with the user in mind Uniflood very aptly meets customer requirements of lighting surfaces, as well as accentuate details with white light in true colour. The same product in two versions of optical distribution makes it suited for billboard lighting as well as illuminating architectural details with precision. Easy to Experience Uniflood is a single unit with integrated lamp and gear compartments. With a low wattage lamp of CDM-TD / MHN-TD, this product being an integrated unit makes the job of installer simpler. The same luminaire being used for multiple applications reduces inventory. Philips Innovation The optic distribution of Uniflood is truly state-of-the-art and one of the best examples of Philips innovation. It was truly a challenge to generate narrow beam optics from wide beam housing, as well as from a double ended lamp.

Precision Optics
Enduring
1. Wide and narrow beam optics Uniflood offers two types of optical distributions. First, a wide beam, which emanates from axially symmetric stepped reflector design. Second, a narrow beam, which results from rotationally symmetric reflector design. Wide beam light is most suited for billboard and area lighting applications, where flat surfaces need subtle and even illumination. The narrow beam light distribution makes the life of lighting designer easy, as it is a perfect match for city beautification and architectural flood lighting. 2. Controlling attachments Besides the two types of optic distributions, Uniflood also offers provision for using light controlling attachments like louvres and barndoors. These attachments extrapolate the precision of light control in highlighting the subject distinctly.
Rugged Design Uniflood is a pioneer in its category with the most reliable pressure die cast aluminum construction. Epoxy-polyester powder coating on the housing makes it weatherproof. All the external hardware including toggles and hinges are of rustproof stainless steel material. Due care has been taken in the choice and treatment of the materials at the design stage to make the luminaire last longer. Improved thermal balance The heart of the luminaire contains a gear for which it is vital for ambient temperatures must remain within allowable limits. The housing design has special fins which emit the heat effectively, making the luminaire more thermally stable. Designed for sustained maintenance Uniflood housings contain distinct grooves for fixing and retaining the EPDM gasket to the housing. The front cover comprising toughened glass nicely sits over the housing pressing the gaskets to provide IP65 ingress protection.

Multiple Usage
Ease of Use
1. Wide mounting & adjustments positions Uniflood uses a special, robust and ergonomically designed bracket which is fixed to the housing with the help of hex- head bolt mechanism. For precise & lasting aiming adjustments, the graduations are embossed on the housing. The bracket contains distinct slot for accurate aiming. The bracket has been specially designed for mounting on racks as well as poles. 2. Suits most applications Uniflood provides complete solutions to outdoor flood lighting applications for low wattages. The option of narrow and wide beam light distribution, coupled with ergonomic and aesthetic design. Uniflood is a perfect choice for small area lighting, as well as architectural flood lighting. Also, it becomes the customer's first choice with the incorporation of the latest ceramic discharge lamp.
Easy to handle In its category, it's a small and compact luminaire with no sharp edges. Therefore, it becomes extremely easy to handle, store, display and use. The mounting brackets do not have prominent corners, yet its rugged design makes it possible to mount on poles as well as racks. Easy to commission The gear being integrated to the luminaire, it removes the hassles of locating the control gear box and wiring within the luminaire. The gear compartment has a special ballast mounting arrangement, which makes ballast fixing simpler. Also, the ingenious design of aiming indicator on the bracket and housing makes aiming easy. Fast maintenance The proven clamp and hinging arrangement comprising stainless steel allows the luminaire to open easily with the help of a simple screwdriver. Also, the clamps design ensures that the front cover seals back the housing after maintenance.
