JOEY PART 1 - EXT. BEDROOM - DAY JOEY, a long haired stoner looking teenager aged around 19 years old is skateboarding in a car park. He is not very good, and spends more time stumbling around on the floor than actually skating. JOEY PART 2 - INT. BEDROOM - DAY JOEY is sitting on a bed, in an interview shot, slightly out of shot is another boy with a similar description. JOEY Yeah, I guess the course is cool, its not really what I wanted to do... I applied for the graphics course but didnt get in, but they said theyd take me on the filmmaking course... so here i am. LENNON PART 1 - INT. WATERSHED BAR - DAY interview shot of LENNON, a hipster sort of guy, aged around 19 drinking a small glass of red wine. LENNON The reason I came here? you want to know the reason I came here? I came here to learn the art, I came here to make films, to make films that homage some of the masters of cinema, films with influence from some of our worlds greatest directors, directors like Quentin Tarantino, Spike Jonze, Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan and Jerry Bruckheimer. LENNON sips his wine See, Ive met a lot of students on this course, and some of them are pretty good, but I dont think any of them have the ability or the knowledge to have as much potential as me.

DWANE PART 1 - INT. TELEVISION STUDIO - DAY interview shot of DWANE, a guy aged around 18 wearing a motorhead shirt and camouflage trousers sits with a camera on his lap DWANE A lot of guys on this course dont have their own equipment, which by all means is fine, the unis got gear, but you see, you got a little more potential and a little more freedom with youre own kit. DWANE lifts up his camera So right here is the most important bit of kit i got, the camera obviously, its a Nikon 600D, there are better cameras on the market but for a 18 year old filmmaker with his whole life ahead of him its a pretty decent set up. I usually use this with my 50mm lens which is what i got mounted on there currently, sometimes i do use the 30mm also, but im actually really fond of the 14mm, which gives a real nice wide shot, works real good with natural light and also is a pleasure to use with my glidecam. DWANE picks up his glide cam from the floor. LOLLY PART 1 - EXT. CUPP TEA BAR OUTSIDE BIT - DAY Interview shot of LOLLY, a girl aged around 18 wearing a t shirt with the word "GEEK" written across it, a colourful woolly hat and hooped earrings. she speaks with a horrible northern accent. INTERVIEWER (contd) so why did you choose to do the filmmaking and creative media course? LOLLY does not know what to say, and zoom into a close up shot of her. DWANE PART 3 - INT. TELEVISION STUDIO - DAY same interview shot as in DWANE PART 3 & 4, but DWANE no longer has any equipment DWANE Yeah, Bristols a real good place to be, theres a big media scene here, we got the watershed, we got ardman here, and uwes got links with the bbc... itv... heart radio, all of which mean i have a good chance to network with people and really get a leg up in this industry, because its tough, it really is tough out there. JOEY PART 4 - INT. BEDROOM - DAY same interview shot as JOEY PARTs 1 & 2 JOEY When i was up visiting bristol, for like my graphic design interview, I was waiting for bus and this like 45 year old guy rolled up to me and said "do you smoke?" and I said "yeah, but I dont have any fags" and he said "yeah im not asking for one, i was wondering if youd buy one off me so i can pay for my bus ticket" and it was basically at that point that I realised Bristols the place for me. after JOEY finishes speaking there is a moment of silence for the audience to think about this absolutely profound thought which is then broken by a disgusting druggy cough by the other guy in the shot.
