A FEW WORDS FROM THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

We would like to thank you for your interest in the Running Special Interest Group of the Sports Physical Therapy Section. It is our goal to help serve our members as a place where others devoted to the field of running medicine can go to learn, share ideas, and assist others as it pertains to running. Please feel free to check out our Facebook page. The more interaction we have, the better. We just ask that we keep the discussion professional. The Running SIG would like to send out a very special thanks and best wishes to our past president, Brian Heiderscheit as he continues his service to the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the APTA in his new role as Treasurer. As we all know, Brian has been a leader in the field of running medicine and instrumental in the development of the Running SIG. His commitment to running related research and education is exceptional. We are confident in the new executive committees commitment to the continued promotion of a running sports physical therapy specialization.
