SELF-ASSESSMENT: CRITERIA FOR ASSESSING THE PROCESS DATE: 24-11-13 1.

Have you made any progress [since last time]? Show evidence. If you have not made any progress, or very little progress, explain why.

Since I sign my learning contract, I have made three breads: Two of them in the course that I took at 220. The first was made with white flour and sourdough and was baked in the school. The other one made with integral flour, sourdough, nuts and raisins was baked at home. With the knowledge acquired in the course, I made another bread at home during this week, but with fresh yeast and white flour. I must say that I have to improve my bread because the bread didnt grow as much as I expected. I have known and learnt some vocabulary related to making bread. Im learning to organize my work in order to fill my goals. 2. Have you come up with anything that you hadnt foreseen on your learning contract? I have known that a child of the group that I was thinking to do the workshop is celiac. So I have to get information about making bread with corn flour, another alternative is doing talos that is another type of bread.

3. Having reviewed your process, have you identified any aspects you would like, or need to change? Which ones? Why? Little time has passed since I started the process and I havent identify any change, but if I suddenly identify one change to do, I will get in touch with my tutor and let her know the changes I have to made, arguing my decision.

4. How did you organize your work? Was your organization efficient? Did it help you to fulfill your goals? At the first of the week I revise my learning contract and set dates for the things I have to made during the week. Although I havent got any problem for fulfilling my goals, I think that I have to plan my activities with more time.

5. What will you do next? How will you do this? I will keep with the same attitude.

6. Do you anticipate any difficulties? Which ones? How will you deal with them? I set in my learning contract that I will do the bread for my family in special dates, but may be I will be out of home in those dates and I dont know if I will have an oven at that house. I have to find anoher oven for baking the bread.

7. How did you perceive the process? Which feelings, sensations did you experience? Which strategies did you use to manage those feelings, sensations? Which are your strong points? Which are your weak points? How did you deal with those? The process motivates me, and this is my strong point. My weak point is the result of my first bread, that can frustrate me but I have to bear in mind that I will learn experiencing.
