Locate the left side handle and remove the
two screws. Remove the handle by sliding

Locate the developer roller drive
gear on the right side. Position the
cartridge to view the drive gear and
axle. (see photo 5)
Turn the drive gear clock-wise for
approximately a ¼ rotation. The gear
will clear the locking tabs and can be
removed. (see photo 6)

Remove the developer roller from the car-

tridge. Wipe excess toner from the roller and
set aside for more cleaning. (see photo 9)

Locate the doctor blade and remove the two
Torx® screws on the far left and right sides.
Remove the two phillips head screws from
the middle of the bar. (see photo 10)
Lift doctor blade out of position and set
aside for cleaning. Remove the two mount-
ing screw inserts. (see photo 11)

Clean toner tank area using a vacuum or
dry, compressed air.

Locate the right side handle and

Install doctor blade using the two Torx®
screws and the two phillips screws with flat
washers. Hold the doctor blade flush Step 18

right side. Locate the three phillips
screws holding the drive gear cover.

Install the developer roller drive gear by
turning the gear counter clock-wise for
approximately a ¼ rotation. The gear will
clear the locking tabs on the gear hub and
lock into position. (see photo 17)
