Psalm 27:4
4
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
John 10:22-42
22
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
Jesus spoke the following words during the Feast of Dedication or Feast of Lights or Hanukkah (Hanukkah correctly pronounced Chanukah):
John 10:27-28
27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Where the word Pluck corresponds to Strongs G726:
Transliteration Pronunciation hr-p'-z (Key) harpaz Part of Speech Root Word (Etymology) verb From a derivative of (G138) Outline of Biblical Usage 1. to seize, carry off by force 2. to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly 3. to snatch out or away

As per the story of the miracle of Hanukkah the Jews didnt have enough oil to light up the lamps in the temple. God provided that oil miraculously. When talking about oil one cannot think but of the parable of the Ten Virgins. If God provided the oil in the Feast of Dedication then we can relate that oil to the Holy Spirit which he also gives in a miraculous way to true believers. We must remember oil cannot be bought. It is a gift from God. (To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with Christ. The Holy Spirit came to glorify Christ. Therefore, if I am filled with the Spirit, I am abiding in Christ. I am walking in the light as He is the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse and keep on cleansing me from all unrighteousness.)
Could Jesus words have been a clue to the Harpazo near the time of Hanukkah or at Hanukkah?
Hanukkah is celebrated during the Hebrew month of Kislev (November or December). It begins on day 25 of Kislev and lasts for 8 days.
But the word Hanukkah (dedication) reminds us of the word Chanak (dedicate) or Enoch. Strongs Concordance
h2596. chanak
chanak: to train up, dedicate Original Word:
Part of Speech: Verb Transliteration: chanak Phonetic Spelling: (khaw-nak') Short Definition: dedicated
According to the Biblical law of First Mention the first time an important word is mentioned in Scripture, it gives that word its most complete and accurate meaning to not only serve as a key in understanding the words Biblical Concept, but to also provide a foundation for its fuller development in later parts of the Bible. Enoch is a first mention as well as the first one to be raptured!!! Is the Lord giving us another clue? Again the Lord links Hanukkah with Chanak and thus with the rapture!!!

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

11
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Now lets look into the story of Esther In the story of Queen Esther, we see that King Xerxes called for his bride to come to him on the 7th day of a Feast. This represents the Feast of Tabernacles. She would not come. So he found a new bride, Esther, and married her on the 7th day of Hanukkah. This is a prophetic illustration of Israel rejecting their Messiah and the Laodicean Church being too busy and preoccupied and not willing to come to the Wedding Feast. Later the feast of Purim was proclaimed.
Esther 2:16-17
16
So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh ye.ar of his reign.
17
And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti. The month of Teveth falls in December in 2013. Tradition speaks of Hanukkah when Esther was crowned!!!
We must also remember that Thanksgiving this year falls precisely at the beginning of Hanukkah.
