General Notices

1. Placements for the year 2013-14 would begin from December 1st , 2013. All students are advised to keep their contact details updated on the T&P system. They should keep their cellphones charged and in good working condition during the placement season. In case of need, T&P may wish to contact students even at odd hours.

Rules for December 1&2:

On December 1 & 2, you must begin the day by reporting to the new Academic Block to register 30 minutes before your first slot, collect relevant instructions and proceed to your interview venue. Everyone needs to carry his or her I-card in the badge to be collected from the Registration Desk. Any student without the I-card wont be allowed to give any interviews. You are supposed to appear in all the companies that have shortlisted you, failing which absenteeism rule will apply. For all the consulting companies and banks you will be allotted one 55 min slot within which the companies are supposed to finish their complete process. You are not supposed to go to the same company more than once. There will be NO further rounds beyond this slot. All entry and exit times at each company venue would be logged in by the volunteers. In case of non-adherence of your slot timings you may be liable for penal action including debarring from placement and reversal of any offers. For other type of companies, the process decided by the companies would be followed. No spot offers are being entertained this year. As more than one company would be visiting the campus, there may be a possibility that one student secures more than one job on the same day. Therefore,

o Each eligible student will be required to fill up his/her individual preferences in advance
for each placement day, ranking the companies he/she has applied to/ has been shortlisted on a particular day, in the descending order of his/her choice. The preferences are editable till a day before by 23:59 hrs. This list is completely confidential and NO ONE has access to this. The student slotting is completely random and students should not come under any sort of pressure from the company about filling company preferences. Students must carry atleast 2 copies of their resume for the interview which should be exactly same as one prepared on T&P portal. Please note that if a student fails to fill up the preferences, a random order will be generated by the system itself.

On December 1 & 2, kindly inform the helpdesk before you leave the recruiting area after completing the process. This is MANDATORY. Students failing to do this will be considered as not having attended any process for the day. We wish you Best of luck!
