consistent global snapshot of the system Summer 09
This application was done in JAVA and supported various branches on different servers and they
communicated using TCP ports and supported various operations like creating account, deposit/withdraw
money and transfer money from one branch to the other and ensuring consistent state using Chandy and
Lamport’s algorithm.

• Implemented a banking application with implementation of Vector Clock Algorithm and Koo and
Toueg’s optimized synchronous checkpointing and recovery protocol Summer 09
This application was done in JAVA and along with the above project functionalities it also supported
Synchronous checkpointing and recovery of the servers. Designed and implemented the Koo and Toueg’s
optimized synchronous checkpointing protocol for future recovery of the system to a consistent state.

• Developed a Database application for an Online Computer Store Spring 09

Developed a database for an online store schema in SQL Server implementing the concepts of relational
databases and developed a front end for this database in C# using the stored procedures in SQL to
communicate with the front end forms.

• Developed an application in C# to encrypt data and work with Google Docs Spring 09
