administrative responsibilities.
Editorial/Work Experience
The Adroit Journal, Founder & Editor-in-Chief.
Responsible for managing submissions while overseeing global editorial/operational staffs of 60+ high school, college, and
graduate students. The journal has a sub-1% acceptance rate; work has been recognized in Verse Daily, The Best American
Nonrequired Reading, and Plain China: Best Undergraduate Writing Anthology.
Poets on Growth, Anthology Co-Editor.
Responsible for marketing, managing, and processing submissions in a timely manner with co-editor Talin Tahajian. Contributors
include Richard Siken, Bruce Bond, Wendy Barker, and others. Anthology will be released for international distribution in April 2015
through Math Paper Press at the 2015 AWP Conference in Minneapolis.
The Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program, Founder & Director.
Lead annual program of twenty-five high school and college students split up into seven mentorship groups of varying sizes. Weekly
assignments and resources include reading, writing, peer-reviewing, portfolio assembly, college counseling, and intra-group
discussion of various other themes.
National YoungArts Foundation, Media Blog Editor.
Recruited to restructure and generate content for the National YoungArts Foundations online blog with the goal of increased
alumni participation. This includes weekly updates with articles, interviews (e.g. Ryan McCartan and The LaFontaines), and features
such as Words for 2014 Winners and Alums You (Should) Love.

Read, managed, and edited submissions of high school writing while providing thoughtful and in-depth commentary for the
