MVF 024 PowerVision: the high-performance general-purpose floodlight for sports, general areas and facade illumination.This compact unit distributes a well-controlled, lowglare, wide, medium or narrow beam, evenly, accurately and efficiently. Excellent results with the integrally-developed, doubleended, 2000 W metal halide lamp, and also with standard 1000 W metal halide or high-pressure sodium lamps. Rugged all-weather construction designed for easy aiming, simple cleaning and speedy servicing. Main applications - Car parks - Architecture - Sport facilities - Industrial areas Features Integrated system of optics, gear and transverse MHN/D-TD 2000W lamp in a single housing, achieving high beam efficiency, and a well-controlled beam. Also excellent with SON-T or HPI-T 1000W lamps. Built-in skirt in reflector assembly minimizes spill light and glare. Suitable as standard for downor up-lighting in 3 beam widths. Protractor scale and visors for pre-aiming. High efficiency, compact size light source (MHN-TD 220000 lm, MHD-TD 190000 lm), with low weight and small wind area allows more light per unit area of masthead frame, or smaller frames and masts, as well as low electrical loads. With the MHN-TD 2000W lamp, the pleasing and natural colour rendering (Ra=80) and the comfortable atmosphere (Tk = 4200K) are well suited for TV and filming. With the new MHD-TD 2000W lamp, the highest international CTV requirements (Ra=90,Tk=5600K) are met. Safety switch to cut off current when luminaire is opened (2000 W versions).

Wire mesh protection against large pieces of falling glass (2000 W versions). With 2000 W models, a series ignitor, mounted in the aluminium connection box on the mounting bracket, is supplied as standard. With 1000 W models, a connection box is available as an option for adapting to the higher ambient temperatures of indoor use. Gear not included. Materials and finish Non-corrosive, high-pressure diecast aluminium housing and hinged rear cover; anodized and brightened, 99.8% pure aluminium reflector; chemically-toughened 1.6 mm glass protected by stainless steel wire mesh (2000 W versions); 4 mm thermally hardened glass (1000 W versions); hot-dipped galvanized steel mounting bracket; blue mounting caps. Installation and mounting Lightweight and compact, easy to carry, mount, aim, connect and relamp (through the hinged rear cover, without disturbing the aiming of the floodlight). 360 Mounting bracket adjustment with triple aiming facilities at either side of the housing. Ample vertical and horizontal adjustment to allow close-grouped arrays. Housing dustproof and jetproof to IP 55; no internal cleaning required. Maximum ambient temperature 35C outdoor; 40C indoor for 1000 W with external connection. Accessories Precision aiming device. External louvre. Gear Pre-wired gear trays available for all lamps: trays can be delivered in various sizes to ensure efficient installation, either internally or in the mast. Gear boxes to separate order.
