Dear North Carolina Central University (NCCU), Thank you for responding to our inquiry. We are very excited to have opened the lines of communication and appreciate the opportunity to further explain the mission of HBCU Pride Nation, LLC to NCCU. HBCU Pride Nation, LLC (HPN) is an organization that promotes the significance and importance of Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU). Through social media, we provide an outlet for over 17.5K current students and alumni to express their love for their HBCU, promote unity and pride, showcase history, highlight student achievements, and work as a networking liaison between students nationwide. In the coming months, we will begin to work with high school students in inner-city communities in an effort to increase the national awareness and raise the enrollment rate of HBCUs. Aiming to encompass both the academic and social aspects of the HBCU student life, we believe that the legacy of HBCUs still hold precedence in todays tech savvy society, and the experience of attending an HBCU prepares students to be leaders and entrepreneurs in their fields and responsible citizens. Focusing on edifying the lives of prospective students by bridging the gap between HBCU institutions, current student bodies, alumni, and the communities in which they were established to educate and serve, our mission is achieved through the effectual use of social media, strategic campus public relations, online marketing, innovative event planning, and video production. Equipped with specialists in their own fields, our executive team is complied of current students and alumni that represent HBCUs nationwide. As an organization in its prime, we feel that our mission falls in line with your commitment to provide students with access to exemplary educational opportunities during their tenure. We want to showcase NCCUs pledge to nurture and cultivate the skills, character, and civic responsibilities of its influenced parties. Thank you for your time and careful consideration. We look forward to the opportunity to speak with your institution in the near future.

Sincerely,

Travis P. Jackson

HPN Media Concept General Overview: The foundation of our media aspect is too shed light on the students and activities that take place on a day-to-day basis. The video will be a balanced film that will illustrate not only an energetic atmosphere with tons of fun and activities, but most importantly, an overview of the supportive, nurturing environment of attending an HBCU. When completed, viewers will watch the video, and take away a deeper love and appreciation for HBCUs. Purpose: This video will be used to educate and entertain prospective students about your HBCU, HPN and the ultimate HBCU experience. The digital age has now made it extremely easy to reach prospective students via social media sites. Using this to our advantage, we want to create a visual package that includes the following: Current student and staff interview: The goal is to have students and staff comment on their personal experiences and illustrate, for us, how attending and working at an HBCU differs from what is depicted in the media. We would like to interview the following: o Members of the Student Government Association o An associate working in the admissions office o The university President/Chancellor o Members of Greek Life Council o Alumni o Student athletes Campus Tour: Campus King and Queen or SGA President would escort us around the campus, giving us some historical insight
