SCRIBE Paul Pope MINUTES Jordi has still not rang Dawsons, he will action this for our next meeting. Mark will visit Cheshire Pianos to discuss any issues they have with the college and alleviate any tension so that they may be able to help us. Jordi has it on the authority of Michael Grainger that getting a Baby Grand Piano is impossible, especially on a budget. Members of the group insisted that the opinion of Mr Garinger be taken into account however we should not give up and not limit ourselves. We should continue looking for the desired Piano. From a Marketing perspective, the cash office has confirmed that ticket sales will go through them. They also presented the group with a copy of the finished poster. Paul suggested a picture be added and Lucy agreed, adding that the poster was too busy with too much text. The group unanimously agreed and Mark added that the poster says nothing about Moldova or that the event is for charity. Jordan added that the pictures taken by his assistant on the day of the Arley visit were not of a good enough quality to use for a poster. He then added that in terms of quantity he is expecting: 50 A4 Posters 25 A3 Posters 100 Flyers

All to be printed by reprographics. The tickets will be printed on card and he has rang several hairdressers who are willing to have the posters in their windows. Mark brought up the issue again that the poster had no visual allure to it and this was key iif people were to be looking at the poster. John suggested that to kill two birds with one stone Have a picture of an Moldovan Orphan, or Mark holding an orphan. This would show who was in the show, and also highlight the cause of the concert and giving us an image to place on the posters. Lucy suggested using the Help Us to Help Them logo that has been used on our T-Shirts, Rachel highlighted the importance that the event is a charity one and that as the concert is a week before Christams, few people would be willing to go if they just saw it as a show. The charity aspect of the show needs to be marketed just as much as the event itself. Paul suggested that once the video/montage is made by the Marketing team, for it to be included as a task for Tutor groups. This would involve a member of the team speaking to Tracy Gibbons of Senior Tutors. Jordan S said that he would do this. Mark then suggested that the Flyers should look different from the posters, and be double sided, to fit more information on e.g. a Map and directions. But also to inform our target audience more of the aims of our Charity. It was unanimously decided that using an image of Mark with one of the orphans is suitable for the posters/flyers and programmes, and a new poster deadline of 22nd has been set. Jordan agreed this and will relay all information to Anna who is not present. Jordan will produce a rough idea of what the poster will look like by tomorrow for us all to look at. Jordan stated that in a previous conversation he was under the impression that Flyers were of the least importance in the event. However Rachel and Mark insisted that they were now vital. Therefore Jordan will look into having more printed as 100 may be too small a number. Jordan then asked how many pages would be allocated in a Programme to advertising; however the group unanimously agreed that this will not be known until closer to the event when all sponsorship deals have been finalised with each department. FOH discussed that they now believe they will need 7 people, and asked if it would be possible for a map of the grounds so they can plan how they will tackle the issue of car parking. With regards to Raffle Prizes, Lucy is in contact with The Brindley Theatre and will get back to us regarding a prize. Jordan is yet to ask his father Jordan PSs Mother will donate 5 weeks free Gym Membership. Ashleigh requested that by the 28th All Raffle prizes be confirmed. Gemma Agreed to this deadline.
