Children's Christmas Breakfast Sunday, December 8 9 am, Fellowship Hall Come and join us for breakfast (birth-5th grade, parents and Sunday School teachers), do some fun crafts and hear the Christmas Story! We will still have Sunday School, but we may be a bit late. AWANAs Go Caroling Sunday, December 8 5 pm, The Manor Calling all AWANAs! Meet at the church at 5 pm and we will go over to the Manor and spread some Christmas cheer! Please be on time so we can be back by 5:45 to allow the Children's Choirs to practice before their performance. Christmas at The Rivers Thursday, December 19 4-6 pm, The Rivers Apartments THANK YOU to everyone that signed up to purchase a gift for a child or donated funds for a gift. We've given every name away! Please be sure to wrap your child's gift and put his or her name on the outside. Each present should be dropped off at the church office or to the library no later than December 18th. If you would still like to be a part of this event, there are several ways you can help: Hang out with some kiddos. Play a game or help with a craft. Our youth will be there doing most of the work, but we do need some over 18 years of age supervision. Serve food. Will you come and help serve the meal? This includes setting up the line to feed everyone there, filling and refilling tea glasses, and clean up. Share God's love. This is about building a relationship with the community so that we have open doors to share Jesus. If you have the a talent for making new friends or the spiritual gift of hospitality or are just willing to love new people, we need you! The youth may be leading this effort, but there is a spot for you to serve!
