Nneka Meka c/o NOLA Greek, LLC 21 Terreza Del Este Harvey, LA 70058 RE: Intent to Sue Dear Dr. Meka, et alia: This letter shall serve as your formal notice of New Orleans Greek Picnic, LLCs intent to commence legal proceedings against NOLA Greek, LLC for continued trademark infringement relative to your companys illegal and improper use of #NOLAGREEK, a legally registered trademark of the aforementioned firm which has been in use by my firm and Diamond Life, LLC, owned by my business partner and the producer of the initial New Orleans Greek Picnic, since 2011. I have, several times, contacted you in writing regarding improper use of the New Orleans Greek Picnic, LLC logo and trademark, and you have refused to cease your use of these proprietary items. As such, I have no other choice than to commence legal proceedings against you. On Dec. 7, 2013, you received a cease and desist letter written by myself outlining trademark infringements for your companys illegal use of #NOLAGREEK on various social media platforms, including Instagram and Twitter. In that letter, I attached New Orleans Greek Picnic LLCs trademark of #NOLAGREEK as a reference to our annual festival (Louisiana trademark #64-8760). Since that time, you have continued to abuse our trademark in your companys promotions. I have attached screenshots of these abuses.In addition, New Orleans GreekPi In the event you wish to resolve and settle this matter prior to legal proceedings being commenced against you, please contact New Orleans Greek Picnic, LLC in writing within five (5) business days. Failure to receive a written reply from you within the time frame indicated above, with your intention of resolving this matter, will result in the initiation of any and all actions necessary for the commencement of legal proceedings.
