We Unite The World Through Play

It's not easy building the world's best digital playground. It's hair-standing-up-on-end-exhilarating. It's down-in-the-trenches-challenging. It's stroke-of-brilliance-at-midnight creative. It's you-taking risks, challenging yourself, pursuing ideas, changing the way millions of people do something they love: Play. We've been making games for decades but you wouldn't know that walking through our studios. We're still buzzing with the same innovative spirit we began with, though we've learned enough to earn our rank as a leading developer, publisher and distributor of the world's best games. What began as a small group of people determined to "put real life in a box" has become a 8,000-people strong, worldwide organization delivering on that very dream. If you've played The Sims 3 lately, you know exactly what we mean. And if you've played Battlefield 3, maybe you'd say that we've done real life one better. Whether you're playing The Simpsons: Tapped Out on your mobile or your palms are sweaty from clutching your controller during intense games of FIFA 13, chances are you've played an EA game. And if you haven't, well, what are you waiting for? In an industry that's changing everyday whether it's through new social channels, advancing technology, new audiences or unique opportunities for monetizationEA is positioned for growth thanks to smart business plans, strategic acquisitions and most importantly our creative people around the world who gather each day to unite the world through play. We take that last part very seriously, so if what you're reading excites you as much as it does us, spend some time here and get to know us better.

Our Teams: EA Games

The EA Games Label is home to the largest number of EA studios and development teams, which together create an expansive and diverse portfolio of games, from action-adventure and role playing, to racing and combat. The portfolio includes several established franchises such as Need for Speed, Battlefield, Mass Effect, Medal of Honor and Dead Space. The EA Games Label titles are developed at the following EA studios: BioWare (located in Edmonton, Canada and Austin, Texas), Criterion (located in Guildford, England), DICE (located in Stockholm, Sweden), EA Los Angeles, EA Montral, Visceral Games (located in Redwood Shores, California) and EA Partners. The EA Partners group teams with external game developers and third party studios, such as Valve and Crytek, to provide them with a variety of services including development, publishing, and distribution. In addition to traditional packaged-goods games, the EA Games Label also develops massivelymultiplayer online role-playing and play-4-free mid-session games which are persistent state virtual worlds where thousands of other players can interact with one another. Working for EA Games brings exciting opportunities everyday. Imagine creating a new universe for Star Wars: The Old Republic, or being a physics programmer on Need for Speed who must calculate how a car reacts in a 100-mph multi-vehicle collision. Imagine developing Commander Shepards story in Mass Effect or being an Audio Sound Designer who records explosions for Battlefield. These are just some of the types of opportunities waiting for you on the EA Games Label. Whatever your skill or interest, EA Games is home to a world of passionate gamers just like you.

Our Teams: EA Sports

Without question, EA SPORTS is the most widely recognized sports brand in interactive entertainment. The EA SPORTS label brings together a wide collection of sports-based video games marketed under the EA SPORTS brand. EA SPORTS games range from simulated sports titles with realistic graphics based on real-world sports leagues, players, events and venues to more casual games with arcade-style gameplay and graphics. We seek to release new iterations of many of our EA SPORTS titles on a regular basis (often annually), in connection with the commencement of a sports league's season or a major sporting event when appropriate. Our EA SPORTS franchises include FIFA Soccer, Madden NFL Football, Fight Night, NBA Live, NCAA Football, NCAA March Madness, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, NHL Hockey, Grand Slam Tennis, and EA SPORTS Active. Games are developed primarily at our EA Canada (located in Vancouver, Canada) and EA Tiburon studios (located in Orlando, Florida). Joining the EA SPORTS team provides a tremendous range of challenges and opportunities regardless of your background. You could be designing the latest innovations in established franchises like Madden or FIFA, or you could be working on entirely new sports games altogether. You could be coming up with ground-breaking marketing campaigns for NHL or NBA LIVE? If you're an artist, you could use your skills to create in-game versions of the latest sports venues. As an animator or programmer, you could be assigned to bringing Tiger Woods, Ronaldinho, or other sports superstars to life in the game. Those are just a few examples of the great types of opportunities available on the EA SPORTS team.

Our Teams: Maxis

Maxis creates and markets games and experiences that are easily accessible, inspire creativity and fun, and transcend core video game culture into a world of engaging and relevant entertainment for people of all ages.
