Many people are confused and worried about something that should be one pleasures of the life eating! Unfortunately" for a number of #ids and teens" that concern can lead to an obsession that can become an eating disorder! $ating disorders such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa cause dramatic weight fluctuation" interfere with normal daily life" and can permanently affect their health! %enerally" eating disorders in&ol&e self critical" negati&e thoughts and feelings about body weight and food" and eating habits that disrupt normal body function and daily acti&ities!

Classification:
The most common disorders are: '(ulimia ner&osa ' )nore*ia ner&osa '(inge eating Disorder

)nore*ia
)nore*ia is a disorder which the person restricts their feeding for an intense fear of get weight! The person has a misperception of his own body!

(ulimia is a psychiatric illness in the group of disorders and eating beha&ior which the patient eats more than other people and can:t stop "and then they feel guilt that leads to acts of repentance!

(inge eating disorder @($DA is the most common eating disorder in the United -tates! It is not classified as a separate eating disorder! The term B(inge $ating DisorderB was coined to describe the same binging type eating beha&ior without the e*clusi&e nocturnal component! ($D usually leads to obesity although it can occur in normal weight indi&iduals! There may be a genetic inheritance factor in&ol&ed in ($D independent of other obesity ris#s and there is also a higher incidence of psychiatric comorbidity!

Signs:
