How the Data was gathered: by Alisson Frost, Lisa Kawamura , Danielle Ring
In order to gather this data from the Boise Municipal Airport:
1. Made a list of the airlines that operate there.
2. Printed flight schedules from the Internet, for those airlines.
3. Made a tentative schedule of times we were available to go to gather the data.
4. Developed a questionaire.
5. Spoke with Jan Evans of Airport Security who referred us to Gary Fraise, the Airport Manager.
6. Mr. Fraise agreed to our project provided we release a copy of our raw data and our final
analysis to his office. We submitted our questionaire and tentative schedule to his office and he issued a memo to all
the airlines of our intent.
7. We then proceeded to go to the airport at various times over a 7 day period. We went through airport security and
spoke with a total of 100 airline passengers after they received their boarding passes.
8. The Data Sheet, in this workbook, contains the results of those interviews.
