A2 Safety precautions
1. The contractor may only instruct
persons with the erection, mainte-
nance or operation of the Table
Striking and Transport Trolley who
are suitable and experienced for
this work!
2. The contractor must ensure that
the instructions for use supplied
by PERI are on site, brought to the
knowledge of the persons named
above and are accessible to them!
3. The Table Striking and Transport
Trolley is to be used in such a
way that persons on the path of
transport are not endangered!
4. Persons are forbidden from
being carried on the load!
5. The Table Striking and Transport
Trolley must not be loaded beyond
its carrying capacity! Loads must
be carried symmetrically to their
center of gravity!
6. Loads are to be set down and lifted
from the trolley so that any unin-
tentional collapse, falling apart or
slipping of the load is avoided!
7. The Table Striking and Transport
Trolley must be parked so that it
cannot tip over, fall down or slip
away!

8. The Table Striking and Transport
Trolley must be protected and
stored away from the effects of
weather and aggressive materials,
because safety can be affected by
these!
9. Persons who use the Table Striking
and Transport Trolley must check
the equipment for faults (e.g. de-
formations, cracks, incomplete
markings) during use!
10. If a fault is found the contractor
must ensure that the Table Striking
and Transport Trolley is taken out
of use!
11. The braking mechanism of the
winch must not be greased or oiled!
12. Replacing worn out braking rings
on the cranking handle, or the
repair of defective cranking handles
is only permitted in the PERI
workshop!
13. The contractor is to ensure that
maintenance work on the Table
Striking and Transport Trolley is
only carried out by persons who
have the necessary knowledge
and skills!

heights are freely adjustable from
1.45 m to 3.2 m. With the extension
100 and the raising piece 60 the
working height can be increased by
up to 1.60 m.
The Table Striking and Transport
Trolley can be fitted with a center
cross bracing 200 or 170 and used
depending on the size of the table
formwork.
The carriage of the Table Striking and
Transport Trolley can be altered to
pass through narrow areas. No load
may be placed on the Table Striking
and Transport Trolley during this
manoevrre.

Only materials may be used.

These testing instructions apply to regularly
recurring checks and checking after special
events to the following lifting appliances
manufactured and sold by PERI GmbH, or
hired out by PMS GmbH:

2. Purpose
Regular checking of the lifting appliance will
ensure that the operating and functional safety
is guaranteed and possible accident hazards
are excluded with proper handling. Checks must
be carried out at regular intervals (in Germany
at least every 12 months!). Shorter intervals
may also be necessary according to conditions
of use.
3. Responsibilities
The contractor (or his safety officer) is
responsible for arranging the regular safety
checks of the lifting appliance. Safety checks
on this lifting appliance may only be carried
out by trained personnel (competent person
according to UVV).
The guidelines and conditions of the national
and international regulations of appropriate
organizations apply to ultra-sonic and fissure
tests. For Germany these are the DGZFP
(German Association for Non-Destructive
Material Testing).
4. Sequences
4.1 Arranging the safety checks
The contractor arranges the checks to be carried
out with the manufacturer of the lifting appliance
or a suitable service company. Checks can be
carried out by the contractor only if a competent
person is available as a testing person.
