The role of TQM in the effectiveness of an organization.The mounting failure in organizations has not been countered by the practice ofTQM.However, such organizations have failed to achieve this goal fully and thus this gave impetus to. my study. The main objective of the study was to establish the role of TQM in the effectiveness of an organization. The specific objectives included establishing TQMs role, investigate its loopholes and coming up with recommendations. The variables in the study were. employees empowerment, being customer centered, formulation of quality policies. The literature reviewed in the study acted as a limelight to constitutes and thus guided researcher on how to investigate its role in the effectiveness of an organization The data was qualitatively analyzed. The study revealed that there is need for commitment of all members in an organization for it to succeed. Empowerment of workers to take part in decision making also lacked in the organization. According to the findings, TQM barriers were also identified and the need to formulate quality policies was brought out in the study. In light of the findings, it was recommended that it's the role of management to ensure that the organization works as a system and have quality as their first priority. Also, more time and funds dedicated to further study of the same kind would result to more valuable discoveries for both organisationists and educationists.
