The addition of a precision ball valve for
airflow control allows the aquarist to fine
tune the skimmers output. Unlike most
other high performance skimmers in this
class, the EV is remarkably silent.
The addition of a John Guest fitting is a great feature
that can only be found in AquaC ozone-equipped
skimmers. A calcium reactor may also be connected.
Effluent typically falls between 6.56.9, and over
time the addition of this low pH effluent can have
a deleterious effect on the systems pH level. By
dosing the effluent directly into the skimmer, excess
CO2 will be blown off into the atmosphere and the
tank pH will remain unaffected.

A new water treatment concept for small reef aquariums from 10 to 52 gal. It

External Protein Skimmer AP Series
The AP Series skimmer is the ultimate piece of equipment for protein waste removal
from aquarium. The automatic cleaning head available for larger models can
clean both inside and outside of the cup and will increase efficiency by a further
minimum 20%.
Can be stood either in or beside a sump or beside the aquarium.
Can be gravity or pump fed (supply pump not included).

Kalkwasser Stirrer
Kalkwasser - Translates from the German for limewater and is a solution made by
dissolving Calcium Hydroxide in water. The resultant fresh solution is alkaline with a
pH of 12.4 and contains a ready supply of both Calcium ions and Carbonate ions.
Can be stood on the outside of the aquarium or sump.
Must gravity feed back into the water supply.
Feed with RO water from a reservoir or direct from the RO unit.

Fluidized Reactor
A line of substantial fluidized reactors with a twist off bayonet lid to allow easy
access for replacement of the media. The water is forced down a central tube and
is returned back up through a diffuser plate.
Sponges are fitted either side of the media section to retain the finer particles.
The lid is fitted with a tap to adjust the flow and two hosetails connected to
unions for simple removal or to allow hard piping to be used.

External Protein Skimmer
These skimmers have the flexibility to hang on almost any brand of aquarium or
for it to be used inside or hanging on the outside of a sump. They draw their own
water from the aquarium via the internal needlewheel pump. MCE600 includes a
chamber built into the skimmer where filter media can be used in a sock or bag.
