After Terce has been completed, and Holy Water is blessed, one of the Priests goes about the Church sprinkling Holy Wate. chanting the Asperges Antiphon. After the Verse and Collect that follows that a Procession is made around the Church. At this point the Clergy halt in front of the Rooc Screen for the Celebrant to chant the Bidding of the Bedes. The Bidding of the Bedes (from the Sacramentary of Ledfric, Bishop of Exeter): y. Let us pray the mercy of the Lord, dearly beloved brethren, for our brothers and sisters from the East and from the West,! that each of them might also pray for us in diverse places.
