INTRODUCTION
There is nothing new under the sun; every challenge and situation you will ever encounter has already existed. Someone once experienced them, and all we need to solve them is to obtain information about previous similar experiences, and the ideas and secrets that were used to solve them. No situation is new, and all situations have a solution. The Word of God says: The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there anything whereof it may be said, see, this is new? It hath been already of old times, which was before us. (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10). This book is about dealing with challenges, difficulties and situations that need solution. Life is like a game of puzzle, where you keep looking and searching through the chart for the answers already embedded within. It is a contest with many problems, begging for solutions that are already existing. Once we begin to understand life from this perspective, we will have a full grasp of the fact that there are solutions to our lifes challenges. These life challenges require knowledge, understanding and wisdom, because they are like puzzles, and puzzles are drills that push us to search for their solutions, before they can be unraveled. This is what this book is all about: change that can be brought to every situation, by searching out for their solutions. And there are just 12 steps to find them!

This book is not a claim to provide you with solutions to every problem. But it will surely equip you with the right inspiration and motivation to face-up the challenges that confront you. It will make you to begin to see that you and God are a winning team and are totally unbeatable. There is indeed no great feat you cant achieve if you are determined and get up to it. The information and teachings in this book are not meant to provide automatic solutions to situations, nor is it a mystical wonder book that produces instant solutions to situations. It is an effective guide toward solutions. You need to work for it to be effective.

PREFACE
Man is born unto trouble, says the Bible (Job 5:6-7), and this has proven to be true. Man grapples for solutions to his situations, problems and circumstances at every point in life. Most times these solutions are difficult to find. Many get so scared of their situation or so troubled by their challenges, because they cant find solutions, nor do they know the way to obtain answers for their circumstances. No matter how elusive solutions and answers to our challenges are, they are very much accessible, and have formed the motivation for this book. I have often confronted situations in my life that looked very difficult and out of control, but the sure things I have always had to my advantage are the ability to be positive about getting solutions and the determination to achieve my desire. I have come to points when I could become homeless, hopeless and discouraged because situations around me would not allow me meet my financial obligations or reach to achieve my expectations. Challenges kept coming, but looking back, I can see most of the problems were solved because I was able to get solutions for them. This is particularly amazing to me because the situations then looked insurmountable. I remember vividly a situation in which I needed to change location for an urgent and important assignment of my life, which I knew was the right thing for me. There were impossible situations around me, which could make me lose hope or forget the idea. There were financial challenges, difficult processes and requirements I wasnt sure I could fulfill. I set my alarm to wake me up by 4:00 am each day. Each time I woke up at 4:00 am, I thanked God first, then sat up and visualized how I would find solution for my relocation mission, and then I spoke out words of affirmation toward it. I also read the Bible immediately after that and prayed. These I did always as a routine, till I was convinced I had my desire. I was making every necessary effort and

taking the right steps through the process of achieving the desire. My relocation mission worked out as I had visualized and those spoken words I always declared were confirmed. It was a smooth sail to the surprise of family members and friends. I achieved my desire and got the required solution. Various struggles in my personal life have all taught me to brace up to any challenge, with assurance of victory, once I do the necessary steps. I have always known there are solutions just waiting to be found. The steps in this book have worked for me at various situations and I believe it will also be a helpful guide for you through challenging situations. The volume of solutions available to us through lifes challenges is far more important than the problems and situations those challenges create. Of a truth, God has more than a million ways to solve a problem.

We eventually made the wedding

Several years ago, I was invited to attend a cousins wedding ceremony. It was an event that my family and I looked forward to attending. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, I was faced with two disappointments. First of all, I did not receive my paycheck as expected, leaving me broke for the weekend. To make matters worse, my car refused to start that morning. While I was trying to comprehend the issues I was facing and at the same time trying to figure out a solution, I got an inkling to go wait on the busy street in anticipation that I would get a ride to the wedding. You might wonder, Why not call for help? I certainly did not want to bother anyone and from the depth of my heart, I knew that the Lord would do something because of the strong conviction I had about Him. Also, my family had no clue of what was going on because they were preparing for the event while I was dealing with this issue alone. I just could not bring myself to tell them the possibility of not attending this wedding, so I went with my inner persuasionI went and stood on the street with my unwavering faith, in anticipation of a car. I knew the Lord would not disappoint me, especially with Him knowing the importance of this event to my family. As I walked across to the busy street, I told God I put my complete faith in Him and that I trust Him to bring help my way, no matter how long it takes. It seemed like a crazy idea at that time, but I was confident in my spirit and thats exactly what I did! I stood there and watched cars drive byeven taxisand the time for getting to the wedding was gradually ticking away. At some point, a thought came into my mind that I was wasting my time; I had spent about 45 minutes standing there with no progress. Immediately I dismissed those thoughts. I believed if I continued to wait, God would send a car my way. I was not concerned that anyone noticed that I had been there for close to an hour without attempting to stop a taxi. I just had an absurd feeling that a car was going to come to my aid and I was sticking with it. Suddenly, a taxi was approaching my direction, and when I looked, I saw that it was a friend I had not seen in a while. I waved at him excitedly and he proceeded to stop his car where I was standing. We greeted and talked for a bit to catch up on old times. I then told him that I had been standing on the street for over an hour hoping to get a car to take my family and me to a wedding ceremony. To my

amazement, he volunteered to give us a ride to such a distance at no cost. Regardless how long it took or how silly I looked standing on that corner, faith came through for me and I was not embarrassed. Faith is a solution creator! When we determine and believe, we will have whatever it is we hope for.

STEP 1
BE AN INCURABLE OPTIMIST: See possibilities in any situation. Be positive. Dont see things the way they are, but think of things the way they ought to be see what you can make out of them. Just be an incurable optimist who has faith and not the pessimist who lacks faith. See possibilities! See everything going on around you in terms of possibilities and opportunities rather than as difficulty or problems. When you change the way you look at challenges, your perception of them will also change-- the problems will look different! For instance it is said, when life throws lemons at you, make lemonade. And again, a successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him. See beyond the superficial in any situation! There are deeper virtues that could be unearthed from life situations when we decide to explore them deeply. Our conscious intention to rise and respond positively to a negative circumstance is what enables and empowers us to create desired circumstances. Nothing is created or changed until someone determines to create or change! You have to recognize your responsibility to make things happen according to Gods intentions. The initial mandate, which God spoke into the life of man when He created him, still stands; it is for you to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion (Genesis 1:28). God upholds everything He created by the words of His power which was spoken into them (Hebrews 1:3). This is why you must be conscious of the built-in capabilities you possess!

Reasons why you must remain optimistic: 1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) 2. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13) 3. In the multitude of counsel there is safety. (Proverbs 11:14) 4. Know for sure that wisdom is the principal thing. (Proverbs 4:7)

5. Faith is a solution creator and it works once you connect with it. (Hebrews 11:3) The life of a tree shows us the possibility of rising again, even after being cut down. It reflects positive optimism to grow, as long as it is within the right environment: For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. (Job 14:7-9) There is every hope for you! Your responsibility is to keep that hope alive. If you keep that hope alive, soon every other thing will start coming alive for you. There is every hope for a cut down tree if it can only access water. If you can only access and connect with Gods thought pattern, there is a sure hope for you in any storm. Gods thought pattern is faith wrapped with positive optimism. When the whole earth was in chaos and void in the beginning, God saw a masterpiece in it and went ahead to create the beautiful earth we live in, with His word of power, disregarding the chaotic situation He saw initially. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3). Nothing defeats God and nothing affects His faith or confidence. You need to team up with Him with trust and absolute confidence, so you can rid e on eagles wings with Him through situations and frightful circumstances. Riding on eagles wings means God carrying you by Himself through situations you were unable to handle alone. God reminded the Israelites that He carried them through difficult circumstances: Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles wings, and brought you unto myself (Exodus 19:4).

STEP 2
ACCEPT THAT YOU CAN MEASURE UP TO THE CHALLENGE; that is, the challenge is very much within your sizethis means, every challenge and situation confronting you is within the limits of what you could handle, not something you cannot confront. It is sizeable to overcome. People are often pressured to complain and lose hope, because of the enormity of the challenge confronting them, and ask questions like: Why me? Am I the only one? Or God, are you still there? The truth is that any challenge that confronts you is sizeable to be reduced and overcome. You have the capability to handle it, and this is why i ts coming your way. So, avoid complaining and murmuring as you seek for solution. Dont stifle your inner yearning for growth. You will hinder your own growth when you back down on challenges; you will lose the experience, confidence and courage they would otherwise build in you when you rise to confront and subdue them. Challenges come to help sharpen our wits and prepare us for the future, because there is always a way out of itwe will only need to get up and work toward it! The Bible says: God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13b). You have been fearfully and wonderfully made to handle situations. Accept a challenge as a mission that must be accomplished and stand up to it. A challenge is merely waiting for you to give it a solution, so it can give you a promotion. No challenge coming to you is bigger than you.

Measuring the challenge

Measure the challenge confronting you by asking these questions: 1. Is this challenge bigger than God? Of course not! Then it is not bigger than you. Remember you and God can be a team. 2. Can I actually handle the challenge alone or do I need to seek help? A combination of your determined effort and the right help will give you a handle on

the situation and help you measure up, far above the challenge. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword (Leviticus 26:8). Dont be alone in your challenge! It is wise to connect with God, so you can connect with the right people: Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour . For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:9 12) There is power in a good alliance to confront a challenge. 3. Are there people around the world with similar or greater challenges, yet they overcome? Yes there are. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man. (1 Corinthians 10:13). So, you can face the challenge and overcome! Its been done before, and you can do it again.

STEP 3
SOLVE A PROBLEM: Every financial challenge and lack can only be changed by solving a problem or by becoming a valuable problem solver. Money is a reward for solving a worthy problem. It is a certificate of appreciation people give to you when you help them solve a problem. People can only allow you to part them with their money when you help them solve a problem they cannot solve themselves. The degree of effort, time and wisdom put in to solve a problem, determines the degree of reward earned and ultimately the amount of money you will have at your disposal. You must learn to be creative to solve problems Creativity is the beginning quality for every creation. It is a quality inherent in God, which is replicated in man.
