FEB. 27 TEL AVIV, JAFFA, MT. CARMEL, -B/DNAZARETH After breakfast drive to JAFFA - south of Tel Aviv which is considered to be the world's oldest sea-port. Much of Old Jaffa has been lovingly restored and now houses an artists colony and galleries, together with the many churches and mosques, which make for a unique site. Celebrate Mass in Jaffa. Drive along the coast to Visit MUHRAKA, where Elijah confronted the priests of Baal. Continue to NAZARETH an Arab city in the Galilee with many Churches and Monasteries, where Jesus grew to manhood. Recent excavations show that it has been inhabited since the time of the patriarchs in the 2nd Millennium B.C. Check into your hotel in Nazareth or Tiberius for dinner and overnight. FEB. 28 CANA, MT. TABOR, BOAT RIDE, TIBERIAS -B/DAfter breakfast visit to the town of CANA, the site of the First Miracle for Mass and Renewal of Marriage Vows. Continue to MT. There are 14 Stations along the route each commemorating an event along Jesus' route to crucifixion. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
