    2. In the Bank account field Identify each unique bank account. 3. In the Bank Group field Select the bank that this account belongs to. The bank group information defaults for this bank account. 4. In the Bank account number enter the Bank account number 5. In the Ledger account field Select the ledger account associated ith this bank account. !hene"er this bank account is used the ledger account is also affected. #. In the Currency enter the currency used ith this bank account. $. The Bank account contains # digit as follo % First% This segment represents the default bank account type &i.e. 'ebit or (redit) Second% This segment represents the main bank account type &i.e. Bank* safe* custody* +(* +,* etc.). Third% This segment represents the sub-main bank account &i.e. for banks . (IB - /0* 1SB( - /2* for custodies . 2ersonal (ustody - /0* Business (ustody 3 /2). Fourth% This segment represents the currency &i.e. +.4 - /0* 5S' - /2). Fifth & Sixth% This segment represents the serial number.
