What is Plant Biology?

Plant Biology is the science of plant life and a branch of biology that also includes many more sub branches such as cellular and molecular biology, genetics, development, evolution, physiology and biochemistry.

The work of Katherine Esau (18981997) on plant anatomy is the major foundation of modern botany.
