Good afternoon, its Monday, December 23, 2013 at __________________ oclock and youre listening to The New WKNJ 90.3 FM, Union, New Jersey and Im ____________________ with the news. In Local News A Coldwell Banker real estate agent was caught with his pants down. LIT-ER-ALLY! Robert Lindsay was tasked with selling a couples home in Wayne, New Jersey. Instead of marketing the property and lining up potential buyers, the couple says he intentionally listed the home above market value to keep buyers away. Now why would someone want to do that? Well, Lindsay and a fellow Coldwell Banker agent used the home as a dwelling for their sexual rendezvous (RON-DAY-VOOS). Hidden cameras set up in the home captured the two agents engaged in sexual activity ten times. The owner saw them via live feed on their last encounter and called police. The couple has filed a lawsuit and is seeking compensation for invasion of privacy, trespassing, breach of contract, and more. Coldwell Banker has ceased affiliation with both agents when they learned of the situation.

Another tragic situation in New Jersey where a young life is lost by gunfire. The shooting took place in Newark, outside of a party where 18-year-old Reginald Terry was shot and killed after trying to break up a party. 21-year-old Altariq (AL-TA-REEK) Kornegay (CORN-GAY) was also shot and killed. Terry was a promising athlete who just began his freshman year at New Jersey City University. Terrys coaches said he was a good kid who was determined to play football and stay off the street. He was an honors student and attended accelerated classes in high school. The school plans to give Terrys jersey to his mother. Officials believe that Terry was not the target of the shooting. No arrests have been made and The Essex County Sheriffs Crime Stoppers has offered a fifteen thousand dollar reward for any information.

In National News

The teenager who was shot point-blank at a Colorado high school last week died Saturday. 17-year-old Claire Esther Davis was critically injured after another student, 18-year-old Karl Halverson Pierson, stormed into Arapahoe (AH-RAP-O) High School and started firing. Davis was sitting with a friend when Pierson walked up to her and shot her in the head. He then took his own life. Officials believed he was seeking revenge after losing his spot on the debate team. Hospital officials where Davis was being treated made a statement via Facebook, saying that her injuries "were too severe and the most advanced medical treatments could not prevent this tragic loss of life." She died with her family by her side.

In another case of people versus life support, a 33-year old woman is on life support and according to her husband, it is against her wishes. Marlise (MAR-LEASE) Munoz (MU-NIZ) is in intensive care after suffering from a pulmonary (PULL-MO-NAY) embolism (EM-BO-LIZ-EM) which happens when blood clots travel to the lungs from elsewhere in the body. Munozs (MU-NIZs) wishes would have been granted under normal circumstances but according to the state of Texas, it carries ethical and legal challenges. That is because, she is eighteen weeks pregnant and Texas state law prohibits withdrawing or withholding life-sustaining treatment from a pregnant person, regardless of their wishes. Her husband, Erick Munoz (MU-NIZ), a paramedic, found his wife unconscious last month and called nine-one-one after performing C-P-R. She was then taken to the hospital where she has remained on life-support. Medical tests show that the fetus has a normal heartbeat and doctors want to wait until the twenty-fourth week to determine when the fetus can be removed. The hospital plans to follow the law regarding care during pregnancy. In the meantime, her husband says he has reached a point where you wish that your wifes body would stop.

In International News The head of the terrorist group al Qaeda (KIGH-DAH) issued an apology yesterday for an attack that happened earlier this month. The attack happened at a hospital in the city of Sanaa, which is the capital of Yemen. A man identified as Qassim (KA-SIM) Al-Raimi (ALRAY-ME) said the attack was a mistake and offered his condolences to the families of the victims. The apology comes after surveillance video showed a gunman entering the building firing at patients and staff. In another clip, an attacker approaches a group of people huddled in a hallway with an explosive device and dozens of people died. In his message, Raimi (RAY-ME) said that families of the victims in the hospital would receive compensation. The attack was to target the Yemeni Ministry of Defense compound only, not the hospital or mosque. Al Qaeda (KIGH-DAH) fighters are targeting any places that have connections to American drones. Although they have accepted responsibility for the attack, they are continuing with plans for future attacks.

Dennis Rodman was in North Korea again, this time without a meeting with the countrys supreme leader, Kim Jong-un. Rodman was in the country training local basketball players for an upcoming exhibition game. The game will take place next month in honor of Kims birthday. It will feature former NBA players and North Korea players. Rodmans trip comes in the aftermath of Kims public announcement of the execution of his once powerful uncle, Jang Song Thaek (Thayke). The report of the execution has worsened relations with the United States and South Korea. Rodman has been criticized for his quote on quote friendship with Kim. Former NFL player Aaron Hernandez sat in court amongst his attorneys as they argued that media coverage of Hernandezs upcoming murder trial has poisoned the jury pool. Defense attorney Michael Fee argued that stories leaked by prosecutors could impede the right to a fair trial. 23-year-old Hernandez is accused in the shooting death of semi-pro player Odin Lloyd. Llody was just twenty seven years old. During the hearing at the Bristol Superior Court in Fall River, Massachusetts, Fee asked the court that a gag order be issued to prevent evidence from being discussed in the media. Prosecutors denied the defenses allegations. Sitting at the defense table in a black suit, Hernandez mouthed the words I love you, to his mother who was present in the courtroom along with his girlfriend, Shayana (SHAY-ANA) Jenkins. He is due to appear in court again on February 5th.
