Topic: AD MAD SHOW

Date: 16 November 2013 Summary: Ad Mad show was conducted keeping in view of encouraging and improving students creative skills an Ad-Mad Show competition is conducted. Students were given different products and asked to create an advertisement with brand name, punch line, USP of product. Within a time slot the same has to be performed in front of audiences in the teams. The performances were judged by panel of members and gave feedback. This activity was for BBA I semester students and they had performed very well in this activity. Their performance was awarded with appreciation letter distributed by event coordinator Ms. Nida Parvez

Topic: Share Market Seminar

Date: 16-11-2013

Summary: A seminar on share market was held on 16-11-2013(Saturday) taken by

Mr.Vineet Garg. The purpose of seminar was to given practical knowledge to the student about share market and specially trading on share market. The objective of study was to aware students about the subject Security Analysis and Portfolio Management and as it is an important object for finance students in terms of MBA and also in career. In seminar there were students of BBA IIIrd sem. and BBA Vth sem, and also the faculty of BBA and BCA. Duration of seminar was for 60 min. in which last 15 min. were for query session. Students were taking interest. They were willing to know how is trading done actually in share market and cleared their doubts and they were also interested in building their career in share market.

Topic: Psychometric Testing Date: 16-11-2013 Summary: Psychometrics is the field of study concerned with the theory and technique
of psychological measurement, which includes the measurement of knowledge, abilities, attitudes, personality traits, and educational measurement. The field is primarily concerned with the construction and validation of measurement instruments such as questionnaires, tests, and personality assessments. A workshop of testing psychometric ability of students was conducted by Mr. Manish Kumar for BBA IV and BBA V semester with a view that student would explore themselves and find their strength. Students were also advised how to overcome their problem.

Topic: Hardware Workshop Date: 16-11-2013

Summary: A seminar on Computer Hardware was held on 16-11-2013 for BCA. The purpose of seminar was to give practical knowledge to the student about computer hardware and Assembling. The objective of study was to aware students about the computer parts SMPS, Hard Disk, Processor, RAM, PCI Slots and their functioning and uses as it is an important object for BCA students. In seminar there were students of BCA I Sem and also the faculty of BCA duration of seminar was for 90 min. In which last 15 Min were for query session. Students were talking interest. They were willing to know how the computer functioning and cleared their doubts. Students are very happy.

Topic: Tally Workshop Date: 16-11-2013

Summary: One day workshop on the topic of TALLY was organized for BBA students by BBA/BCA and Integrated Department. The workshop was organized with a motive to aware BBA students about the use of tally and to provide theoretical and practical knowledge of tally software, so that students come to know about its importance in this scenario and working methodology used in tally. This workshop was conducted for BBA I semester students.

Topic: Management Quiz Date: 16-11-2013 Summary: Management Quiz was organized for BBA students by Ms Priya Tomar, she had compiled various questions from management and divided team into three group. Various other faculty members helped her to organize this event.

Topic: E-Mail and Searching Technique on Google workshop Date: 23-11-2013 Summary: E-Mailing is quite common mode of communication now-a-days. Students were told about various ins and outs of sending mail, writing mail and designing signatures. They were also told about various search engines like as Google, MSN, Yahoo, AltaVista and how to search related content from these websites. This workshop was conducted by Mr. Manish Kumar for BCA students.

Topic: Case Study and Business Presentation Date: 23-11-2013

Summary: Case study is latest art of teaching management principles and aspects keeping this view in the mind Mr. Vineet Agarwal had conducted case study and business presentation. A case was explained to student which was related to management after that various problems regarding case were discussed and students were asked to explain its solution with the help of ppt slides. Topic: IT QUIZ Date: 23-11-2013 Summary: IT Quiz was organized by Mr. Harish Kumar for BCA student on 30 November 2013. IT quiz was designed to check IT skills of students. Three teams were made and various MCQs were designed and presented. There were various rounds specifically designed to check IT skills from various domain.

Topic: Workshop for JAVA Date: 30 November 2013 Summary: Java Workshop was conducted by Mr. Manoj Kumar on 30 November 2013. Java one of the advanced languages which have varied scope and advantages. Students were made to understand the importance of this language, its importance and how to use this language. Various practical examples of this language were shown to students of BCA
