Abstract Based on instantaneous power theory and the mathematical model of the rectifier in two-phase
stationary coordinatea novel instantaneous power prediction method is proposedand a direct power
control strategy is improved by using fuzzy logic The strategy has a better dynamic performance and faster
response time At the same timea PWM rectifier simulation model based on MATLAB is established
and an experimental prototype is developed The simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility
and effectiveness of the proposed method
