Welcome to the monthly Pacesetter Games & Simulations update. This month we catch up on some long-awaited projects and announce several new projects.

G1 The Blood Cult is Here!

All of the pre-order copies of The Blood Cult boxed set have been sent. With that finally done, the standard release of The Blood Cult boxed set is available at pacesettergames.com. The Blood Cult is the first boxed campaign supplement and module series specifically designed for the first edition game since 1988! Inside the box you will find The Blood Cult Campaign Supplement, three adventure modules, 14 cardstock maps, and two 11x17 color maps. In a single night, the war on magic exploded across the world. The towers of magic collapsed in flame. Wizards are hunted down like animals. Arcane magic is under siege. With little warning and no preparation, the heroes must stand against the mysterious and ferocious Blood Cult.

Cataclysm at the Acaeum Kickstarter

Work on the Cataclysm continues and the project is taking final shape. Unfortunately, the project is still a ways off from completion. Real life work has been extremely busy this year but it looks like things are finally easing up so I can spend more time on the Cataclysm. I have decided to add some other things to the boxed set including full color maps of the lands around the mountain - these maps are part of the DarkLand campaign setting by Pacesetter. The Black Stone module is nearly complete. Next comes a final edit of the Cataclysm supplement book. These will go out to in PDF form to all supporters* as soon as I have them done (same time I send them to the printer). *The Black Stone module will be only be delivered those who purchased the addon.

Pacesetter goes DCC RPG!

It with great enthusiasm that I announce Pacesetter Games & Simulations has been given license to produce Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) RPG adventures! DCC is a fantastic variation of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons with many unique (read fun) rules. Character generation is just fantastic - it has to be, odds are your going to need to roll up a bunch of characters! A TPK is not just an isolated event, it is a way of life in DCC. I am hoping that Pacesetter can live up to that standard. Our first release will be a DCC version of The Screaming Temple. This adventure, one of Pacesetters most popular adventures, will be expanded with new encounters and a professionally produced map.

DA5 Monster & Treasure: Level Five Assortment

The fifth accessory in the DA Monster & Treasure Assortment is now available at the Pacesetter website (DriveThruRPG pdf version coming soon). Designed like the classic TSR M&T Assortments, these accessories include everything you need to design and stock an entire dungeon level. Each accessory contains a list of 100 monsters and 100 treasures. Draw a map and start rolling percentile dice to load up your rooms. But of course there is more. I have included charts for chamber contents, traps, treasure containers and monster reaction. And still there is even more! Each accessory includes a sample dungeon with 45 -60 keyed encounters - that is a complete dungeon! When the series is complete - levels one through nine - you will have one massive megadungeon or you can create your own. http://www.pacesettergames.com/

D1 The Vault of Balir

A new adventure series finds your intrepid PCs entering the ancient and, until recently, forgotten dwarven prison vault. A century ago, the dwarves mined a massive silver mine in the distant wilds. As the mine became exhausted, war had erupted and the dwarves found themselves holding hundreds of enemy prisoners. The mines were transformed into a prison. Even after the war, the dwarves continued to inter more prisoners within the mine prison. Many years of peace followed but again war came again to the dwarves. This time, the dwarves were forced to abandon the wild lands. Before doing so, they sealed the prison - dooming its inmates. For a hundred years the prison lay sealed and forgotten. Now, the seals and wards are failing and evil stirs within the Prison Vault of Balir. This series will feature five modules detailing the five levels of the prison vault. D1 features the introduction to the Prison Vault of Balir series as well as the first level of the prison.

D5 The Fires of Balir

This adventure, the fifth level of the Prison Vault of Balir, was released as a special promotion for the Center Stage Miniatures Demons & Devils Kickstarter package. The entire adventure has been expanded and revised. It can be run as part of the D-series or on its own. Read up on your demons and get ready to push the PCs to the limit.

DC1 Fog of War

Introducing Pacesetters first DCC RPG adventure series - Return of the Giants! Originally produced as limited edition adventures for Center Stage Miniatures, the Return of the Giants adventure series is being redesigned and expanded for the DCC RPG system. Each full-sized module will feature a specific type of giant and a challenging adventure. The PCs race to stop a secretive clan of giants from completing their plan to unite the giant races in a bid for world domination! This series will feature most of the giant races presented in the DCC RPG as well as introducing new giant types. Look for Fog of War in January 2014.
