Its time!! The 2014 New Year Revival starts this Monday, January 6 thru Wednesday, January 8, when Dr. Lance D. Watson, Pastor, St. Paul Baptist Church, Richmond, VA will be the guest revivalist each evening promptly at 7pm. See the attached flyer for additional details. ************ You may pre-order your revival CD and/or DVD at the Information Center starting this Sunday until Wednesday after the service. Your order will be available for pickup on Sunday, January 12. 3 CD set (for Jan. 6, 7 and 8) is $24 3 DVD set (for Jan. 6, 7 and 8) is $30 ************ Place your S.H.A.R.E. order on or before Monday, January 13 at the Information Center or by calling the church office at 703-521-7663. S.H.A.R.E. distribution day is Saturday, January 25 from 6:30am8:45am in the Multi-purpose Room. ************ Attached is a Ministry Vacancy Announcement for the position of Associate Pastor of Administration. All interested candidates should follow the application instructions on the attachment on or before January 24, 2014. ************ Join in the enjoyable fellowship on Saturday, March 29, 2014 to the Sight and Sound Theater to see the production of MOSES!! The Prayer Ministry is in need of workers. If you would like to serve on the prayer Ministry, join us at our next meeting on January 9th, at 7:00 p.m. or contact Minister Beatrice Thompson by calling the church office at 703-521-7663. ************ Attention All Youth!! Each Thursday evening is Youth Bible Study for all ages from 7-8pm in the sanctuary. ************ If you cannot come to the church for the Weekly Noon Day Prayer on Wednesdays, you can call in and participate on the Conference Call Prayer Line: Dial-in Number: 712-775-7000, Participant Access Code: 115939#. ************ The Tabata Bootcamp (tabatabootcamp.com) and Power of Movement. Leslie LaPlace the owner of power of movement provides one-on-one classes with individuals (Cameron Station, Clarendon Fitness, Power of Movement), and leading exercise bootcamps, and also works with: Arlington County, Office of Senior Adult Programs, providing Senior Strength training and Boomer Bootcamp; Abs, Healthy Back and PowerSculpt classes for the Arlington County HealthSmart Program SeniorCise class, focusing on ensuring seniors remain active and maintain a healthy life. Tabata Bootcamp offers a high intensity interval training that boosts metabolism after exercise is over and can accommodate all fitness levels. This bootcamp is currently meeting in the Macedonia Multi-purpose room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm. Prices for the classes are: Monthly Rates (Paid in advance) Two 30-minute classes per week with a monthly charge of $85 Macedonia Baptist Church Members would pay only $70 per month Three 30-minute classes per week with a monthly charge $110 Macedonia Baptist Church Members would pay only $100 per month

New Vendors and Hours at Arlington Farmers Market at Courthouse Plaza The Countys longest running farmers market never closesso no need to worry about finding wonderful local produce. The official winter season begins on January 4, but new vendors are already here with fresh, nutritious food for your holiday table. New vendors include New Morning Farm specializing in certified organic vegetables, berries and herbs; Lynnhaven River Brand, providing fresh oysters, clams and mussels and Spring Valley Farm & Orchard with a variety of vegetables, fruit and value added items such as pepper jelly, apple butter, peach preserves and salsa. The market is open every Saturday from 8am-noon, April through December. From January through March, the market is opens from 9am-noon. For more info visit http:// arlingtonparks.us. Unplugged Event for Tots! Unplug with Saturday programs where families disconnect from electronics and reconnect with each other through recreational and leisure activities. On January 11 from 1:30-3:30pm and January 25 from 3-5pm at Langston-Brown Community Center join us for Things That Rock! Explore new music and instruments; enjoy an interactive concert and educational music show presented by a family music specialist. Geared toward ages 3+; $10 per person. Public Meeting for Phoenix Bikes Come to a public meeting to discuss various options for a new education center for Phoenix Bikes and public restrooms along the W&OD trail and Walter Reed Drive. This meeting will give you background on Phoenix Bikes and its work to empower youths as well as information on developing a facility. The meeting is Tuesday, January 14 at 7pm at the Park Operations Building Conference Center, 2700 S. Taylor Street. Bible Study Schedule at 7pm Each 1st Wednesday will be Corporate Prayer and Praise. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month will be Pastors Bible Study which is open to everyone. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month will be Mens and Womens Bible Study. Each 4th Wednesday will be Young Adult Bible Study. The 5th Wednesday of each month will be Leadership Night. All leaders of MBC will meet with Pastor Hamlin. ************ Parents, while you are in service or performing ministry, please be mindful that you are responsible to know where your children are at all times. If you permit them to leave you for restroom breaks, etc., they must return to you at an appropriate time and not be left unsupervised. We appreciate your cooperation. ************ PLEASE TAKE NOTE: There should be no walking in the sanctuary during prayer, the message or altar call, unless you are coming to the altar.
