Dork trouble opening shared folders on network
Hi Everyone,
I have set up my home network between a Vista Ultimate and Home Premium machine and i can

Double check the steps in this tutorial to see if there may have been something that you
overlooked. In particular Step Three.
If it is a user account's personal folder, you may need to grant permission for the main
username folder to be able to access the other folders first.

Thanks Shawn, i saw that tutorial last night but didn't go through it in detail...i'll double check it
when i get home tonight. I do have a question though: when i get to #s 9 and 10 under step 3,
am i only entering users for the machine the shared folders reside or is their a way that i have

Murphy,
It's for the user accounts on the computer where the shared folder resides. You will logon to the
one of those user accounts via your networked computer.
