Sir,
I am directed to convey the sanction of the President for the payment
of a sum of Rs. 5.00 crores (Rs. Five crores only) for setting up of Institute of
Excellence in Nursing Education in HIV/AIDS at Thambaram, Chennai for the
year 2008-09 in respect of the following Society under the plan scheme Development of Nursing Services: Name of the Society

The sanction accorded herewith is subject to the following conditions

that:
1.
Audited statement of Expenditures supported by certified copies of all
cash receipts and vouchers and Utilization Certificate for the sanctioned
amount from the competent authority should be furnished within twelve
months from the date of sanction to the NURSING ADVISER, Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi - 110011 Tel. FAX
No.23062310

It is also requested to submit performance-cum-achievement reports
soon after the end of this financial year.

The expenditure covered by this sanction is debitable under Demand
No. 046.- Department of Health and Family Welfare, Major Head 2210
Medical and Public Health, Minor Head 06003 Training, 11 Development of
Nursing Services, 1102 Strengthening of existing Schools of Nursing,
110231 Grant-in-aid during the year 2008-09 (Plan).
4.
The accounts of the grantee institution/organization shall be open to
inspection by the sanctioning authority and audit both by the Comptroller and
Auditor General of India under the provisions of CAG (DPC) Act, 1971 and
internal audit by Principal Accounts Office of the Ministry, whenever the
institution or organization is called upon to do so.

This issues with the approval of AS&FA vide Dy. No. 6239, dated
3.11.2008.
