These turning points represent major shifts in the psyche and in todays psychological parlance, has been re-painted as a quest. However, there are always profound and sometimes disturbing changes. This Master Class explores the astrological signatures of the mid-life crisis, the impact on individual charts, how different generations experience them and how the varying sequences affect the individual experience. A TH E N A S J U D GE M E N T Saturday 20th June, 1:00 pm 4:00 pm From the time that Athena ruled a fathers role to be more important than a mothers in the shaping of a child, we have leaned toward this philosophy in our astrological theory. But what if each chart were different? What if we could easily see which parents choices helped to mould that individuals character? Using a variety of charts, the workshop explores this concept and how it alters our basic interpretation of the chart. R E VO LU TI O N S Saturday, 25th July, 1:00 pm 4:00 pm The predictive work we do today is dynamic whereas in the past most predictive work was static. These static systems provided a window into time and the use of these system of returns or revolutions are still valid for any one particular period of time. "What's the use of happiness?" the comic Henry Youngman asked."It can't buy you money." Instinctively we all know that wealth cannot guarantee happiness. But wealth can increase our options. Wealth increases the scope of our choices and allows us the freedom to explore options which previously may have been limited by the cash in our bank account. Wealth instigates freedom, and it is freedom we yearn, not wealth itself. This workshop examines the signatures for wealth in the chart through both modern and traditional methods.

The workshop will simplify the process and use examples to guide us through this fascinating concept which can easily be used as an adjunct to our more modern predictive tools.

Studying Astrology
strology is an ancient art dating as far back as Babylonian times. Common perception considers astrology to be magical, religious, secret, supernatural or mystical. However, it is a combination of philosophy and science, with definite rules and specific techniques. Astrology is also an art where awareness, common sense and personal skills play an important role. The study of astrology on a serious level requires time and commitment. It requires self-discipline and application. In other words, the study of astrology is an experience in hard work and objectivity rather than psychic ability. Astrologys primary tenet is that the individual is an integral part of the ebb and flow of the universe. Understanding this ebb and flow as it is reflected in the cycles and patterns of the heavens gives an insight into a persons life and the uniqueness of the individual. At the same time, it provides a canvas upon which the story of humanity is etched. The fraternity of astrologers spans many centuries and continues to reach down through the ages. Every generation of astrologers has left their legacy on a body of knowledge whichcontinues to grow as humanity evolves. As a student of astrology, you will be joining the ranks of many famous people who studied this ancient discipline, such as Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Nicolas Copernicus, Johannes Kepler, Michelle Gauquelin and Carl Jung, to name a few.

s with any profession, the question of qualifications and their quality is always an important point for consideration. Qualifications ensure that the consultant astrologer is trained in a variety of techniques. This differentiates them from the interested amateur who has basic information gleaned from books and intermittent attendance at short courses or workshops.

The principals of Astro Mundi have been associated with the Astrological Guild of Educators International since 1998. They have also assisted in the development of the Guild syllabus at both Certificate and Diploma level. The first step in gaining a professional astrological qualification involves successfully undertaking the AGE Certificate of Astrology exam. The sitting of the Guilds Diploma in Astrology after a further two years of study completes the process of gaining professional astrological qualifications. After successfully gaining the AGE Diploma in Astrology, the consultant astrologer is entitled to: JOIN the Forum of Professional Astrologers USE the letters AGE Dip Int. after their name ADVERTISE their qualifications to establish a practice and DISPLAY The Guild Imprimatur on their advertising and business correspondence.

The Astrological Guild of Educators International Inc

The Astrological Guild of Educators International Inc was established in 1998 and is an independent, non-profit, educational body. Its brief is to conduct and maintain uniformly high astrological standards at a level acknowledged by the international astrological community and to promote understanding and appreciation of all aspects of astrology. The Guild is an independent organisation and non-aligned with any one particular astrological association. Instead it maintains a wide network of contacts with astrological educators all over the world. All Guild members at all levels must uphold the Guilds Code of Ethics. The Guild offers the following levels of internationally recognised examination:

CERTIFICATE IN ASTROLOGY is available to any one who wishes to undertake the qualifying examination. No prerequisites are necessary although the Guild recommends up to two years of study. DIPLOMA IN ASTROLOGY is available to any one who has held a Guild Certificate in Astrology or any other astrological qualification for a minimum period of two years. By considering its nature and condition, we can determine the quality of that time in the persons life.

Profection : Profections are a time lord system based upon a simple progression in the order of the signs from a starting point. There are annual, monthly and daily profections for each planet or lot (Arabic part as they are sometimes called). Each represents a subject (significator that gives signs for a subject matter), and the profection represents the unfolding of that subject through time.. Directions & Revolutions : These methods are used to determine the changing influences of the altered relationship between the cuspal and the planets places on successive years after birth. The planets by motion of the Primum Mobile are gradually carried around the earth passed the cusps of the houses, and are brought into successive aspects with each other. This can be used to determine the timing of events. Thirds of Life : The triplicity lords were used to divide a persons life into 3 thirds and each lord would determine the quality of a particular time. This particular technique is referred to by both Vetius Valens and Omar and is related to the rising times of the signs according to the latitude of birth. Directing the Ascendant : This is another technique which helps the astrologer understand the natives state of being, when he arrives at fortunes, when he will have gain, when he will have good health and when there will be success. Handings Over : The Lord of the Year had precedence over the Solar Return and the condition if this planet was said to signify the benefits or otherwise of that period.
