Social
When I started at SU, the only reason I came to Schreiner was to play soccer and go to class. That's all I did in high school, so that was the plan in college. When I moved to Texas I really wanted to make friends, but I just felt so outcast. I started my sophomore year at college the same way, just soccer and class. Yes, I made some friends, but was still very Susan wrapped up in sports that I couldnt open up to Burger anything else. The two friends I made my freshman year, I knew would last forever, Kyla and Rebecca. It just so happened that both joined ASA during freshman year. I was not interested in it at all, but as time went on and I saw all the girls that I was growing to love and be friends with, I felt why not try. I started talking more and more to the best big sister ever, Nicole, and with all the girls that were not a part of my soccer group. I was trying to hang out more and more with them and decided to go to the recruitment events and though I still was nervous (dont know why I ever was), I was so excited when I got my bid. Even after I joined, there were times I felt maybe this wasn't for me. Maybe I was trying to fit all the things I was doing into one life. But I am so glad that I did. I helped others find the great friendship and sisterhood. I now can't live without talking to and seeing those sisters like Austin. I thought after I graduated it would all be over and everyone would forget me but oh was I wrong. I feel sometimes more a part of ASA after I graduated than while I was going to college. I am still meeting and getting close to sisters that are meant to be a part of my life like Amber! Growing up I was a tomboy that always hung out with guys and it is such a blessing to have girls that I know I can turn to about anything. I love helping my sisters just as much as they help me. Close together or miles apart, my sisters are always close to my heart. Love you all!

Spiritual
My name is Kelsi Schneider. I am a sophomore and PreVeterinary Biology major. I have recently become the new ritual chair in the our chapter. ASA has become a huge part of my life and has helped me develop new relationships. I have grown very close to my sisters who have inspired me to be a better me. I have learned what it means to be a part of something bigger than myself. This has helped me discover my responsibilities as a member and assisted me in balancing my life between school, work, and my sorority. Through my interactions with my sisters and Alpha Sigma I have grown spiritually in realizing how my faith plays a part in who I am and how I can make more of an impact on those around me. I look forward to using my new position to show my sisters the ritual and history behind ASA that motivated me, in hopes that they will find the same pride that I have in Alpha Sigma Alpha.

Intellectual
I graduated in May 2013 with a bachelors in Multidisciplinary Studies. I'm from Kerrville and was initiated with the eta class. I'm the math coordinator for a non-profit organization called City Year, whose goal is to lower the nation's drop-out rate. Words cannot describe Wendy Saldivar how much ASA has helped shaped me into who I am. My sisters were my cheerleaders when I wanted to get my GPA up. ASA taught me how to make smart goals, use a planner (can't live without it), and organize any event. It has taught me so much more but what I am constantly using ASA as an example for is how education can open doors to our future. My kids like hearing about my college life and I can't think of a better example than telling them our chapter's study habits. ASA helped me get my grades up and pushed me to be better and I'm now doing the same for my students. Thanks so much for choosing me. It really makes me feel connected to my chapter even after I'm gone. Love y'all more than you know and please don't hesitate to ask me for help when networking or anything education related.

Physical
I'm currently at Texas State as a graduate student studying communication disorders and will hopefully be a speech therapist one day. It's hectic and tough but I was able to finish my first semester with a 4.0! To be honest, if I hadn't been in ASA I don't know how I'd balance this crazy life! You appreciate the sometimes chaotic life of a sorority girl when you graduate. Crossfit is still a huge part of my life. I am currently coaching classes at the New Braunfels Police Department. I train police officers and their families and I am currently training for a half marathon! Some of the biggest things ASA helped me develop were a motivational attitude - I love my sisters but going to events sometimes was a task in itself, especially when you have 4 tests and 2 projects due in a week plus a job to maintain- and the mindset to really want to show my absolute best in all my endeavors. At Schreiner everyone knows everyone and you even for an addict like me and I never want to sell myself short, so my represent all you organizations at every moment best is all I have to giveit in the gym, to myself and I to those I train. whether you realize or not. Those are things Thewith things you take away from ASA are and wonderful, take me every day to the gym and inrare general. cherish them andsuper your sisters! Getting to the gym is sometimes hard even for an addict like me and I never want to sell myself short, so my best is all I have to give in the gym, to myself and to those I train. The things you take away from ASA are rare and wonderful, cherish Brittany them and your sisters!

Sisterhood is the essence of the wisdom of all the ages distilled into a single word. You cannot see sisterhood; neither can you hear it nor taste it. But you can feel it a hundred times a day. It is a pat on the back, a smile of encouragement. Its someone to share with, to celebrate your achievements.
