Tutorial for Setting UP Richtech Server

1. Install Richtech 2. Open Manager then click Disk Manage, Click Add Disk Name: SYS_IMG < kahit ano ilagay nyo Disk Capacity: 15GB < eto nilagay ko, since XP lang nman gagamitin Image File: Assign kung san isasave or icreate Use Sparse File: wag po i click Click OK Wait nyo ma format ung IMG na ginawa nyo like sa pic.

3. Click Option, Auto Add Tab Adding Method: Manual <---- pwede din Fully Automatic ( DHCP mode ) Template: Blank ( Kapag Manual Mode ) Name Prefix: WKS <---- Default, ito ung Computer Name No of the name: 3, < ex. WKS001 kapag 2 WKS01 Starting IP: bahala na kyo End IP: bahala na din kyo IP Setup Tab UseIP: click nyo lang ung gagamitin nyong IP, IP ng server nyo ^^ Option Tab

Password for Manage: kayo na bahala Password for superuser exchange: kayo na bahala Allow slave servers to sync data: blank Add restore point when modify disk: <--- eto ung restore function kpag nag super mode Disk Cache Tab Tick Enable cache Memory cache size: mine set only 1GB sa may baba ung cache file ng IMG na ginawa nyo. sa SSD nyo na lng i set or sa mabilis na write speed HDD nyo. ex. GAMEDISK = 10GB <---- recommended ng website ay 30GB for 50units+ SYS_IMG = 4GB <---- sa mga nababasa ko ito ung default eto ung sakin

Click OK. add na po ng workstation or client 4. right click sa interface ng manager then NEW WORKSTATION Basic Tab

Disk Tab click disk edit then click < arrow para ma add sa Workstation disk

Server Tab piliin nyo na lang ung IP nyo Super Setup Client Cache: 256MB <- 2GB RAM 512MB <-- 4GB RAM Start Server Hotbackup: wag nyo na po i tick Click Apply Restart nyo na lang ung service ng Richtech sa services.msc then ok na po yan Turn On Client para ma detect kung working, set nyo sa BIOS ung network as 1st boot pag na detect po ganito dapat lalabas

Tutorial for Client Installation and Setup 1. Install OS on HDD <--- WinXP NOTE: turn off System restore function. para tipid sa space ^^ 2. Install Lan card Driver after ma install ang lancard i-restart ang PC 3. Install Richtech Client WINXP wag nyo na iclick ung PNP at i-type ang IP Address ng Server

4. Shutdown PC 6. Punta ka sa Richtech Server at make sure na nka add na ung client. click super user mode at piliin ang IMG na ginawa. 7. Turn-On Client PC 8. Right click on MY Computer click Manage then DISK MANAGEMENT may lalabas na new drive click NEXT i-check then NEXT WAG i-CHECK then click NEXT i-Format ang bagong Drive sa NTFS <--- eto ung IMG na ginawa sa RICHTECH SERVER

9. Restart muna <---- commercial break ^^

10. Click Upload na nsa desktop Source: C:\ <---- eto ung OS WINXP Destination: D:\ < eto nman ung IMG na ginawa sa Server Configuration: leave blank dont click ONLY UPLOAD NEW FILE

11. Click Start ^^ hintayin matapos ang upload <---- mag KAPE muna kayo ^^ (saglit lang pla toh)

Click Exit

12. Shutdown PC at bunutin ang HDD i-set sa NETWORK boot LAN ang PC ( still nka super user mode pa din ) 13. Turn on PC - nka diskless na yan ^^ 14. install nyo na ang mga dapat iinstall after installing at nka set na lahat, shutdown PC then sa richtech server uncheck ung super user mode. SUPER USER MODE <---- kapag nka pula ang client. NORMAL MODE < green

@undot na try mo na ba tanggalin ung boot gui? sa msconfig tapos boot.ini, sa boot options click mo /NOGUIBOOT then restart. mas bibilis ang booting ng windows by 4-5 secs. backup mo na lang muna system image mo. na try ko na sakin mas bumilis ang booting. kahit sa windows 7 gagana toh.

TUTORIAL FOR DIFFERENT MOTHERBOARD USING ONLY 1 IMAGE. DO THIS AFTER INSTALLING ALL THE PROGRAMS AND DRIVERS.

SERVER SIDE 1. Open Richtech Manager 2. Click Hardware Icon. (see picture below)

3. Click add button. (see picture below)

4. Type the Configure name and Description. (see picture below)

the following step, will be done after finishing all the programs for the mother source of OS. 5. Select and Edit the client profile. (see picture below)

6. Set the configuration for the specific workstation. (see picture below).

7. Notice the configuration name was set to the client/workstation

8. MAKE THE CLIENT/WORKSTATION SUPER MODE. 9. continue step 6 on client side.

CLIENT SIDE 1. Boot your PC 2. install the driver for the mother OS. 3. Open Upload shortcut at the desktop. 4. supply the following, kung marami kayong hardware profile ulitin nyo lang itong step na ito at palitan lang yun

configuration name tapos press start ulet. pero make sure na may nagawa na kayong configuration sa server ng mga pc nyo. Source: C:\ <---- OS WINXP Destination: D:\ < IMG you made in the server Configuration: 010 <---- set the configuration name you made on the server check ONLY UPLOAD NEW FILE

5. shutdown the pc. BALIK SA SERVER SIDE STEP 5 TO 9. 6. boot your pc in diskless environment 1 by 1. 7. now it will detect the hardware, just prepare the driver for it because the pc still using the old hardware of mother

OS. once done, back to the richtech manager, off the super mode then set it to the other pc and so forth. ulit ulitin lang sa laht ng pc na hindi magkakapareho pero kung meron kayong mga pc na pare pareho dapat iisa na lang yun hardware config/profile gamit nila. once matapos laht ng mga pc then remove the super mode. tpos yun na... isang img gamit ng ibat ibang spec na pc. bakit kelangan isa isahin para masave sa configuration name na ginawa nyo sa server para pag ngboot ang pc eh kung ano yun nakaasign s kanya na profile yun lang ang babasahin at iaapply sa pc mo. kung medyo magulo tanong lang kayo.

HOW TO Install Richtech Server on WIN7 x64 1. Turn-OFF firewall 2. punta sa services.msc at i-disable ang Microsoft Firewall 3. Install Richtech Server 4. Set the Install destination to any if this: C:\Richtech D:\Richtech Gaano dapat ang complete Install C:\Richtech\DlxpServ D:\Richtech\DlxpServ 5. Ipadetect ang client, just follow steps on "Tutorial for Richtech Server Installation and Setup"

Sir baka Vmware IMAGES yan pinanggalingan ng OS, kya pagdating sa client PC hindi nagtutuloy ang booting. or sa pag format ng new drive na galing sa Server.

sundan nyo po ung TUT ko about new drive: eto po. 8. Right click on MY Computer click Manage then DISK MANAGEMENT may lalabas na new drive click NEXT i-check then NEXT WAG i-CHECK then click NEXT basta make sure din na nka set as Dynamic Disk then mark as active partition bago mo iformat sa NTFS. then pwede ka na mag next step sa Uploading Process.

@bchangco sa Richtech Manager, click mo ung Disk Manage, makikita mo dun kung may IMG's ka na. ex. System IMG, Gamedisk IMG kapag meron na, click mo ung client tapos click Super User i check mo pareho ung IMG's pwede ka na mag install nyan ^^

eto ung sinasabi ko. This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it. kahit hindi mo na i-run ung Manager sa desktop, mag boot pa din sa diskless ung client. kapag may aayusin ka lang saka mo i-run ung Manager. ginagawa lang ung stop/restart/start services sa richtech kapag bagong install. or may changes ka ginawa sa Manager, restart mo lang sa services. ^^ The administrator has disabled public write access.

Check nyo ito sa mga ayaw mag boot ng tuloy tuloy, GUIDE lang po; Sa Richtech Manager 1. Click Disk Manage, make sure na meron ganito;

1. GAMEDISK <--- puro games, other apps nka set as drive D sa client 2. SYS <--- System ng Client, WINXP, dito din nka install YM, SKYPE, MS Office. 2. Right Click mo ung Client then click Modify; then click Disk ganito dapat;

Click OK 3. Click Super User at lalabas ito;

1. SYS <--- click mo if mag iinstall ka sa SYSTEM mo. ex. Driver, etc 2. GAMEDISK <--- click mo if mag iinstall ka sa GAMEDISK. ex. Games, etc Ginagamit din ang Super User kapag; 1. I-Upload ang IMAGE ng WINXP galing sa HDD 2. Mag Install 3. Gagawa ng Hardware Profile ( Para sa Iba't ibang Mainboards ) 4. Patch ng Online Games After Gamitin, i-shutdown ang client. Then i-click ang Client na nka Super User at click ulit ang Super User icon. Lahat ng Changes ay masasave ^^
